Wisteria Guest House

Wonderful place!

Went to Salt Spring for the first time and am so glad we found Wisteria Guest House. The hosts were kind and accommodating. The breakfast in the morning was so perfect.The beds and linens were so comfy. As soon as we entered our room , a cat followed us in and plopped himself on the bed...made us feel at home. We are already planning our next visit. The only tricky part was sharing a bathroom with another room, but thats only because we booked so late and there was the only room left.

The family that runs the house is amazing, gentle and carrying. Their dogs and cats are cute and sweet. The breakfast is delicious and greatly presented. The place loses one star because it is loud, you can hear people in their rooms, doors opening and closing, bad isolation between rooms... The other lost star, because the bedding was really bed, back pain after sleeping on it, mattress was too soft... and they need to place more pillows for options, both available were too thin.

Just got back from a few days on Salt Spring Island. We have visited the island frequently but this was the first time we stayed at the Wisteria Guest House. How we missed this treasure I do not understand, but now that we have had a chance to enjoy the hospitality of Len and Bev and their family we will most certainly be back. We stayed in the cottage, which was a delightful and charming haven, private and well-equipped (should you decide to cook your own meals). But I would suggest even if you do decide to cook for yourself, don’t miss out on the amazing breakfasts. The food was excellent, the atmosphere enchanting and the hospitality first rate. I was pleased to see that they take every care to accommodate dietary requests. Can’t wait until our next chance to visit.

Very good breakfast. Convenient locations. Quiet and comfort studios room. Feel welcome and will recommend other people to try.
