Hastings House Country House Hotel

I won a r free weekend to stay here. Lovely get away on Saltspring Island

This is a picture I took three years ago. Now I share it with you. I hope I can help people who want to play there.
It's not a hotel in the traditional sense. It's more like having a party at a friend's home or inviting friends to come to their home during the holidays. In a word, my daughter and my friends and family have left very good memories here.

Love this place, beautiful surroundings, and views of forest and water. Food is excellent, staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and tea in the afternoon are included. Would highly recommend you visit here, as well as Saturday market on Salt Spring..

This was a honeymoon stop for us as we traveled Vancouver Island. Beautiful and romantic cottages dot the property. Excellent dinning room. Was very comfortable. Staff was very responsive. Will visit again the next time we are in the area. Easy walking distance to town.

We stayed in a beautiful suite at Hastings House for a long weekend and it was well worth the slightly higher price tan the regular room. The suite was comfortable and we did not feel like we were staying at a hotel it really was more like a private cottage. The little touches made our stay, like the fresh muffins delivered every day of the word fire that was laid each day. The food we had was delicious, particularly breakfast, although dinner in the bistro was a bit pricy.
If you are willing to pay the price I would definitely recommend Hastings House.
