A local favourite. It is pretty hard to beat Little June in cute factor. It is situated in a nice corner unit in the heart of Fernwood and the space is well put together. The coffee is usually great (there have been a few days when the milk stretching was a little lacking), and the food is pretty good. If you are looking for a cute spot in town to wander through check out Fernwood and stop in for a coffee
Little June is such a great asset to the Fernwood neighbourhood. Their coffee and food are delicious and the staff are always kind and friendly. The kitchen sink cookies are the best.
Probably my favorite spot to get coffee and a snack in the city. The folks working here are lovely, professional and great at what they do. I've tried most things on the menu and there isn't a sub par thing on there. My favorite is the grain bowl with a poached egg or a breakfast sandwich.
Coffee is consistently well executed and the entire aesthetic and ambience of the cafe is what makes it a neighbourhood hotspot. My only qualm is that sometimes it's impossible to get a seat to stay and hang out*. That being said, they are busy for a reason so if you are able to secure a window seat or a table soak it all in and just enjoy!
*This comment applies mostly to weekends which is understandable. Midweek I have never had a problem plopping down with a laptop or a book for a little while.
Edit - I believe that currently the cafe is takeaway only due to covid19 so keep that in mind.
Relaxed atmosphere with tasty breakfast and coffees.
lovely hipstery coffee shop located in the heart of Fernwood. Ideal for a quick bite of their pastries or for a more relaxed breakfast. It is generally quite busy with locals and college students who are working there. Nice atmosphere and service
