“Casual atmosphere, good coffee and tea. Beetroot Latte is one of my favorites. I wish there were more armchairs though - they are so comfortable. In summer, the patio outside is lovely. Love the fountain on the side of the cafe. The place has a really nice vibe.”

“I was impressed by their great customer service, after booking online at 2245 we got their last room, they do a good job cleaning things, because the shared bathrooms looked like we were the first ones to use them, even the bathtub (and in a stickler for bathtubs) didn't have a ring in it.”

“Stopped in while waiting to meet an associate. Had an awesome breakfast sandwich and coffee. Sadly my associate canceled but it was okay because the coffee and breakfast were delicious. Thanks for making my trip downtown worth it. You made my coffee perfectly and your staff were so friendly, you made me feel like an old friend. Great little spot!”

“Seemed to be a bit more of a wait than I'm used to. Not to order, that was quick and asked the right questions to get the right product. Waiting for the order to be filled. There were four people ahead of me in the store, yet it took fifteen minutes to get two drinks. Oak Bay Avenue and the Yates Street location seem quicker.”

“I live in Esquimalt, and I'm currently in search of the best hot chocolate and work-space cafe in and around Victoria. Hot chocolate = 4/5 a bit too sweet, needs more richness and depth, but they do have options for Mexican hot chocolate with a little chili and cinnamon, and not enough places do this! Atmosphere = 4/5 quiet, good vibes, quirky. Nice place to have a conversation. No wifi though, so unless you have your own it could be tricky to work. Shawn open is available. Options = 5/5 a big selection of gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian options. Nice place to stop on the way to other things, like taking a walk along the Gorge.”

“This is my children's go to place for bubble tea (my younger daughter is in their loyalty program). My girls treated me to a drink for Mother's Day. First time drinker and the ice brewed tea was refreshing. Lost a star because it seems they run out of bubble tea on occasion and I guess this visit was one of them. Bummed my kids out because as teens they say coming to this place for their bubble tea is the main reason they bother exiting home to Hillside during depressing pandemic times. I'm impressed as they were former fans of Big Orange until this place opened up.”

“Imagine Cafe is a bright, warm space that offers students of all backgrounds a working cooperative. Have a meal that makes an impact! The lamb baguette pairs lovely with Silk Road chai and a sticky cinnamon bun for dessert. This cafe is for the soul searchers and book worms, artists and philanthropists, perfect for tourists in Victoria. A unique spot to get cozy and slow down after walking around Fisherman’s Wharf Market.”

“The staff are very very nice, in Canada day, I didn’t know the store doesn’t open until 8 am as it is holiday, so I ordered online for pick up. When I arrived, I realized it. The staff said she will still make me one, which melt my heart, so sweet! Therefore, I will be more aware of what time they open in the future. But overall, very nice!”

“A nice Starbucks location within the ferry terminal close to the BC Parliament. The annoying thing is that they operate under a license or something similar and they are not able to redeem the Starbucks points to get free stuff, which is very annoying and inconvenient.”

“Perfect location right downtown Victoria, right across the street from the Harbour. Staff proved to be extremely friendly and helpful. The Hotel Grand Pacific has many amenities including an amazing indoor pool and probably the nicest gym I've seen in a hotel. Rooms were very clean and spacious, some coming with a view over looking the harbour. The restaurant in the lobby provides excellent food with a variety of options for everyone. No matter what the occasion, I highly recommend staying at the Hotel Grand Pacific.”

“A local favourite. It is pretty hard to beat Little June in cute factor. It is situated in a nice corner unit in the heart of Fernwood and the space is well put together. The coffee is usually great (there have been a few days when the milk stretching was a little lacking), and the food is pretty good. If you are looking for a cute spot in town to wander through check out Fernwood and stop in for a coffee”

“They have a couple nut milk alternatives and a MUCH better VARIETY of sandwiches and sweets than Starbucks. And at a more reasonable cost. It's a relaxed and charming little place where regulars feel comfortable meeting for a prolonged chat OR getting their coffee to GO. AND there's some out door seating on the patio. It's quite LOVELY really. Definitely one of MY favorites”
