“Nice location, great bike area for kids. There are a few things that could be much improved though. The campsites are not level and most of the trees have been cut down in between the power sites. The kids bike park is a long way away from the campground, it would have been nice to have it in walking distance rather than have to drive to it. Would be much better utilized if it was in walking distance.”

“Beautiful secluded place by the lake, makes you feel connected to the nature. Offer delicious breakfast, canoe is available on the site as well as swimming pool and hot tub and plenty things to do, like mountain biking, hiking, hot springs and much more... and is just minutes from Revelstoke”

“Stayed two nights in a beautiful three bedroom suite! Full kitchen was very well equipped and the two bathrooms were spotless. Lots of room to cook, eat and relax. The laundry room was a great place to store our ski clothing with the skis and boards in a convenient locker on the first floor. The outdoor hot tubs and pool were pristine and the perfect temperatures. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Of course the powder skiing was endless and deep! Bring your snorkel!”

“Loved this place.. Super spacious, great location, easy walk thru the back up the hill to the gondola, it has its own garage with all the amenities for skis and boots and boards. Just amazing. Heidi and Vince thought about everything and built/designed/furnished the place accordingly , to make this place a true home away from home. Definitely would choose to stay here again in future.”

“I have been coming to Revelstoke, year round, for over a decade and I am glad I found this place as early as I did. I don’t have to think twice about where I am staying. Ryan’s ability to make you feel welcomed and at home comes second nature to him. His accommodations and location are second to none. The cleanliness and attention to detail are outstanding. I wish I could give a 6 star rating because 5 just doesn’t cut it. Thanks Ryan, and I can’t wait to be back!”

“Great Private place to stay with your own kitchenette, living room with leather couches and hidabed, and 42" flat screen TV, Large washroom with an amazing shower, and a bedroom with a queen size bed. For summers there is air condition, and Winter there is a fireplace in the living room. There is also a large covered patio with a BBQ, and a covered car port for your vehicle. The best part of Powder Pillow is breakfast items are all provided for you, from coffee and tea to milk and Orange Juice, fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt, and the best part is home made bread is provided as well. I definitely recommend staying here instead of a hotel.”

“Wonderful location with friendly owners. Very close to ski hill, perfectly set up with a laundry room for drying gear (with lots of hanging space and multiple boot dryers) - allows you to keep the living space tidy and comfortable. Beds are comfortable, and kitchen has everything you need, including a dishwasher. The pellet stove for heat is very cool (there are also baseboard heaters in every room letting you adjust heat as necessary)...and heated bathroom floor! The only tiny complaint would be that the pellet stove can be a little loud - it's generally a nice white noise, but every once in a while there is sound of more pellets dropping into the burner. It's not loud, just noticeable. Look forward to staying here again!”

“Stayed here 3 nights with 5 people. Was very clean and spacious. It is one large room plus bath. The kitchen had everything needed to get us going after a stop to the grocery store. It is very close to the resort and a short drive to downtown.”

“We had a lovely 3-night stay at Basecamp Resorts in one of their one-bedroom units. Nice modern decor, clean and well appointed. I love that there is a washer/dryer in the unit so you can wash clothes whenever you want. They even include a free laundry pod and this was super handy when we wanted to wash our dirty hiking clothes. The kitchen has everything you need to cook basic meals, perfect for what we needed. And yes the smoke alarms definitely work because I was cooking a bacon wrapped steak in the oven and we set off both smoke alarms! The location is quiet and away from the main busy areas of Revelstoke so it’s easy to get in/out of the resort. Since the one bedroom unit is on the lower level we did hear our upstairs neighbours (multi-bedroom unit) late into the evening but that probably speaks more to the group staying upstairs than the resort itself. Only other minor complaint is that the bathroom sink is quite small and narrow; so small that I couldn’t wash my face without getting water everywhere and there is no counter space in the bathroom but it wasn’t a big deal. There are chairs and a table outside, and there’s a great view of the river. The price was just right and we were very happy with our stay. Check in/check out was super easy. Would recommend this resort and would stay here again if we’re in the area!”

“This is truly the most amazing place to stay in Revelstoke. The views are unreal and the lodge is absolutely stunning. The quality of the design, furniture and amenities are top notch and so much thought has been put into ensuring that you have a perfect stay. The hosts are wonderful and so welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay.”

“Awesome place. Our stay was fairly short. Continental breakfast was what you'd expect it to be. They even had a waffle maker which was very popular and only makes one at a time so, there's always a lineup. The shower was very small but, did the job. Everything was clean and our balcony was amazing. We had a nice view of the mountains but, everything looked smoky due to the current Forest fires. It's about a 20 minutes drive to town. Pricing was pretty good, I consider it to be a tiny bit expensive but well worth it. They have a pool, a hot tub and a sauna which we didn't have time to use. Pool is open 9am-9pm. All in all it was a great stay!”

“Stayed at the lodge for only one night but everything was great. We were actually the only ones that night and it was amazing. Room was great and the view from the window was even better. Suzy and Ian were inviting and were there for anything we needed. Highly recommend this place, even if you’re just driving through and need a one night stay somewhere! Lodge is close enough to town but far enough to feel like you are secluded in the forest! We will be back for sure for more stays!”

“Stayed at the Ridge View log cabin. What a wonderful experience!!! The neighbours were friendly, the owner stopped by and we had nice chats. Really great atmosphere. Awesome BBQ. The cabin was absolutely beautiful, incredibly clean, stocked kitchen supplies and a beautifully laid out space. The bathroom was spacious and had ample towels which was awesome and the robes added a luxurious element. The bed was super comfy. Highly recommend.”

“You want something different?? This place has one of the best ratings I've ever seen for accommodations on Google, and for a good reason. It basically caters to the sledding and outdoors crowd. You can see it everywhere in the common areas; sledding and outdoors posters and memes, but there is something for everyone here. There are many common areas like a hostel that invite socializing and various activities plus areas that invite more privacy and a bit of solitude until your are ready to chat with others. The atmosphere is very casual and open so if you are a senior or someone who needs it quiet and low key, this is not really your place, go check into one of the franchises in town. This place is just a few kilometers West of Revelstoke and is family run with obvious pride. Lots of energy, kids, activities and fun to be had of you are open to it. I highly suggest the games room and fire pit in the evening for socializing. Accommodations are basic so don't expect a rain fall shower head or anything. The experience will far outweigh the lack of luxury and city amenities. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!”

“Perfect set up for a group of sledders to stay. Beautiful home. The heated shop was excellent to melt off your sled and having the hot tubs were great to ease the pain of riding all day.”
