Fantastic people, great experience getting my first set of glasses

Had a mishap of one of the lenses of my glasses pop out of the frame while we were on vacation and my spare pair had missed being packed. The staff, from the receptionist to the technician, were friendly, courteous, and efficient. They explained what they would need to do and advised me that there was a slight risk that my frames could be damaged. The fears were unfounded - their expertise had my glasses back to normal in no time at all...and they didn't even charge for the service!

I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing optical service and products. Will definitely be back the next time we're in town.

Clean, modern and extremely comprehensive, I feel comfortable that my family's eye health is taken care of with Shuswap Optometric Centre. From regular eye exams to picking frames and fitting contacts, the staff is skilled and helpful in their areas of expertise. In fact, Dr. Ewanyshyn had me take home trial daily contacts and wear them for a few days, then come back so he could make sure they fit my eyes best. A shout out to Dr. Allaway who once went the extra mile to open the office after hours and retrieve my last-minute contact order so I could wear sunglasses & contacts while on vacation. Two thumbs up!!
