“Very friendly owner greeted us, allowed our friends to visit as long as they registered and the cleanest washrooms I have ever seen. It was a delight staying here. I think our neighbours were long time stays and they were most accomodating lifting their awning for us to open the slide. Delightful people.”

“Had a chance to visit with relatives and enjoy the lake life for a week! Staff secured us a great spot and made sure we had everything we needed. Very pleasant neighbours and the price was great. Granted, being that close to the railroad tracks; I now miss being rocked to sleep some nights...lol. It’s funny how fast a person becomes accustomed to a bit of background noise. We enjoyed the welcoming community, walking the dogs daily, visiting with friends/family, time out on the lake and a bit of sight seeing as well.”

Breakfast is super reasonable just remember to add to your stay so she's prepared, parking available right in front also if you need a room with a private bath just request when you book. “It’s not a attractive campground but does function well. Very limited amount of picnic tables and they are ready to fall apart. Bathrooms are clean. Staff are very polite and nice. Price per night changes based on who is running the booth. Beach is very nice to relax and swim at. Very boat friendly place. The people staying here are very respectful and Noise levels are kept to a minimum. The store is rarely open. I would return here again.”

“A weekend getaway here was for the most part, magical. The few issues we had were fairly minor and didn't take away too much from our overall experience. The Lakeview rooms are very much worth the splurge, the view and vibe relaxing on your private balcony watching the birds fly and sun set is stunning. A short walk from the hotel, and you're on the boardwalk which is so nice and great to be by the water. Staff was friendly and grounds are kept clean. The pub onsite has very decent food, as well as the cafe for your coffee/light breakfast needs. Our server the evening we arrived in the restaurant was attentive, friendly and a great member of staff that treated us well and took the time to engage us in conversation not just take our order and not return. High praise for her service The few complaints we had were; the noise of others using their balconies early in the morning. If others are staying above you on another floor the movement on the balcony can be very disruptive and loud. We understand this is to be expected because of the set up, but can be disappointing when you're trying to enjoy a lie in on a Saturday or Sunday morning. Secondly, they are a pet friendly property in the sense that SOME rooms are pet friendly. While I am not against this idea, the rules should be very strict to respect other (high) paying customers. This was a pricey splurge for us and dealing with a yappy dog barking at early hours quite near our own room door was disappointing. It may be hard to control other guests but if dog friendly rooms are nearby the room you booked into, maybe a warning to your guests could be communicated upon arrival All in all, would recommend this property as a getaway especially in the summer and look forward to our own stay there again in the future”

“One of the best hotels I've stayed at in this price range. Everything is a bit on the lower end, shower heads could be better, bets have a little sag. However everything has a level of cleanliness and professionalism that is something to be proud of. I've been traveling a lot for work during Covid. I've stayed in at least 10 hotels since the start and felt totally safe here. Guests are spaced far apart, I don't think I saw a single other guest during my stay. And the room was extremely quiet. I think I found my go-to hotel when I stay in Salmon Arm.”

“Me and my wife were on a road trip to Vancouver from Calgary and we stayed a night at Super 8 in Salmon Arm as it was easily accessible being on the highway. As we entered inside, we were greeting so friendly at the front desk. The name of the guy was Many (I think) but the way he treated us was truly amazing. We were given room number 207. The price was reasonable and the room had all the basic facilities but the ambiance was really really great. The staff is very friendly and they even helped us order the food from the nearby pizza hut which was such a great gesture from the staff. I would really really advice anyone travelling via Salmon Arm to stay at Super 8 as their service is very good. I would definitely return to stay anytime we plan out to go to BC again. I am planning to visit Kamloops which is the place I did my school and I definitely will book my room at Super 8 again. Thanks guys. You were the best ❤️”

“We had a wonderful, albeit short stay at Lotti’s peaceful property in beautiful Salmon Arm. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable - shower has good pressure, wifi worked great, and ample coffee/Tea/water in the morning. Communicating with Lotti was incredibly easy - she and husband are so friendly. We hope to come back in the future!”

“Its a very nice hotel with an outdoor pool. Its location is convinient and makes it feel like a resort with all the surrounding nature. The free breakfast is nice too. My only issues are I encountered bugs in my room, beetles, spiders and such. I don’t know if the people before us just left the doors open or if they are just getting in. Also the toilet paper is extremely cheap. It is 1-ply and even if u use multiple of them and fold it all up it still rips. Otherwise no complaints. Hotel staff are extremely nice.”

“Antonietta was absolutely amazing to deal with, camp site is clean, and very peaceful with all the trees. Washrooms and showers were very clean and kept up with. Met a lot of great people from all over and was an awesome stay for the 2 weeks we were there. Would highly recommend staying here. Not sure of the young lady that does the site maintenance but she was a real pleasure to deal with and super friendly. We will be back to enjoy the hospitality again. Thanks for the very enjoyable stay all.”

“I don’t know why this place doesn’t have better reviews. This was the only place we could find accepting debit. It is super clean and the beds are a dream. The front desk is extremely friendly and free breakfast! They charge a $100 deposit when you pay with debit but I got it back when we checked out. Great value for price. Would definitely stay here again.”

“The rooms are beautiful, brand new and shiny clean. The bed was super comfortable with lovely linens. Everything in the room has been so thoughtfully placed and prepared. We thoroughly enjoyed the deck and hot tub. Jane was charming and very helpful. Oh and the scones on arrival were to die for! We will definitely return and next time stay longer. Highly recommend Blue Spruce Cottages!”
