Anniversary dinner.
We were greeted at the door , the second we stepped in.
Seated by the window as we were an early reservation.The Ocean views are stunning.
Ingenious is the way the roof outside is "decorated" so you dont stare at a bare roof top.
By the way,arrive early as the restaurant fills up by 7 pm.
All evening we felt at peace/ease.
May be the ambience(music,lights,carpetted floor) and the gentleness of the serving staff created that feeric atmosphere.
Walked outside in between meals to enjoy the garden area and the serenity of it.
The Chef is definetly an artist.
The beautiful presentation and the tastfulness of the dishes is sublime.

Had lunch and dinner. The Tuna tacos and Char/Scallops were 5s. The Caprese salad was served with unripe tomatoes in August, and the Steak Tartar had 2 pieces of gristle in it, so both were 1s. Giving restaurant a 3.

One of my favorite restaurants on Van Isl. The food is creative and delicious. The staff is lovely and very accommodating with our various food intolerances and allergies. The evening menu is more upscale than the lunch menu.

A bougie restaurant to take a date or guest out for lunch or dinner. The atmosphere is one of the best in the Valley and service is always excellent here. The food and menu fell a bit short but is good enough.

I ordered the 6oz steak ($30) and found it very salty and the portion size quite small. It could use a bit more vegetables and potatoes to justify the cost. Definitely need an appetizer or two with it.

My guest ordered the avocado toast ($21) but they didn't have the correct bread today and two different types of egg benedict ($24/$27). They enjoyed the meal. The menu could use seasonal specials added as it's the same menu for a while now.

The strongest positive is the atmosphere, settings and decor of the restaurant with views of the waters. The service is always excellent, no problem with the service here. I'd recommend this place for special occasions.

10 out of 10 for food and scenery! You must try seafood pasta, risotto and beet salad. I love them all and the stake are pretty good as well. This restaurant is suitable for date night dinner or special occasions. The view is insane and romantic. Service is good too.
