A lovely 20 minute walk with very minimal incline changes. I would classify this as an easy walk. The view is breathtaking.
Some of the best views on the island. Don't miss it.
If you’re staying on Denman and have access to a bike or car, this is a nice easy hike up to a lookout of Chrome Island. It’s a rolling walk on a fairly straight unpaved trail and passes by Eagle Point. There is bench at the end of the trail and a fence to protect you from the steep cliffs, but no place to really set up a picnic. Round trip, it’s about a 30 minute walk and easy for young children. You’ll get to see some classic Pacific Northwest foliage including salal and arbutus trees.
June15/2018. I came into the Boyle Pt Provincial Park from East Rd.The trail is easy with only a few roots and rocks. From the parking lot it’s approximately 1 km.The view at the point is just fantastic,I can’t say enough now nice it is.Take the time to go for a look. There is eagles nesting just below the cliffs. While I was there several bird watchers had taking to capturer the eagle activity below.Chrome Island light house weather station is just below. This light house is very important to the local Mariners.
Big clear trail very easy for any age. Beautiful views with high cliffs. No easy beach access.
