Great breakfast place here in Radium. We ordered the Fried chicken and waffles and the salmon omlette. Food was excellent, and so was the service.
On a side note , there was a cat sitting by the entrance. We found he had been there a few weeks and was extremely well-behaved. They had put up posters at the camp grounds , but no one had come for him. Long story short, we took him to the vet and the number listed on the microchip was not the correct one. He is now at ICAN in Invermere ( 455 Panorama Drive ) if anyone is looking to adopt an adorable loving cat.
Come in for breakfast and walk out with a cat. Lol.
Food is good. The burger is a little bit undercooked. BLT does not have a lot of meat. But overall they are not bad at all. Service is adequate.
This busy eatery located on Radium's main highway was recommended by the Radium Chalet atop the hill where I stayed, and Fire'd Up definitely didn’t disappoint. Lots of tables both inside & patio seating. Friendly staff and delicious fare.
We were looking for a restaurant to grab a quick, tasty breakfast on our way home from Radium. After doing a quick Google search, we decided to try Fire'D up, based on their menu offerings.
When we arrived around 10:30 a.m. on a Sunday, the restaurant was about half full. It is quite spacious inside, and there were lots of table options available in different parts of the restaurant; there's a bit of a pub vibe in a casual family restaurant setting. Some areas in the back were quite dark, however the tables closest to the front windows were nice and bright.
We opted for assorted breakfast plates: the first included eggs, toast, hashbrowns and bacon, and the second included one egg, bacon and french toast.
First, let me say the French toast was the best I have had in ages (other than my mom's)! It was everything you could possible want in french toast: perfect bite and texture; crispy on the outside (with crisp edges), moist on the inside; perfect balance of egg and bread; and an amazing, light cinnamon flavour. With a light drizzle of maple syrup on top - absolute perfection. The bacon was also perfectly cooked (crisp but not overdone) and the egg (I requested scrambled) was amazingly light and fluffy.
The hashbrowns were also perfectly crispy and the over easy eggs were cooked as ordered.
All in all, we were very impressed with the quality and taste of the food - it was even better than expected, and nicely plated for a casual restaurant. The service was also friendly and very fast.
My only critique is that we were hoping to have a breakfast caesar with our meals, however they were unavailable at the time (I guess we were too early). They also did not have decaf coffee available on the menu.
The prices did seem a bit steep for breakfast (around $20 and up), however that is the average breakfast price point in the area - and the meals definitely did not disappoint!
Highly recommend for a casual, tasty breakfast and friendly experience.
This place deserves a higher rating. The burgers are truly insane! We got the bison burger and the loaded burger, and they were both humongous! The fries were so crispy and seasoned just right. I particularly enjoyed the applewood bacon and aged cheddar in the loaded burger. I am a pretty small person and I finished it all. The service was also good, staff was very friendly. I'm definitely recommending this place to all my friends!
