“Fantastic garden & brilliant decoration. Loved everything about it. There are lots of nice gardens, and landscapes, but this one exceeded my expectations by a lot. I truly liked every single second being there. Not to mention, it has brilliant decoration that adds to the aesthetic. Would totally recommend for tourists.”

“Beautiful all year round!! Even in the fall there are some roses left and of course Fall-coloured trees. Lovely view of the water from it as well. Parking is a very short walk away and can pay/extend parking from your phone too. A known spot for grads to take pictures here after the ceremony...:)”

“Our visit was in the dead of winter, but even in January there were some plants that were blossoming. The entire time we were strolling around there was a pair of bald eagles calling back and forth, flying overhead, and perching in the taller trees. The gardens are expansive and varied, and it would take multiple visits to properly explore the whole grounds. There's plenty to explore: the gardens vary from BC rainforest to wetlands to cactus house, and many other ecosystems. It's more of a work in progress than a glitzy tourist attraction, but well worth the visit.”

“Large and well kept park. You can breath the fresh forest air here and smell the maple and pine trees. A needed break from the busy city. If you ever feel lost, use the signs distributed in the park, there are many of them or simply use goolge maps as the trails arw seen on it”

“Beautiful area to chill especially if you’re a local. If you’re not a local but have a wife who’s taking a course at ubc and you have multiple children and you need to find parking and walk to the park with those said children and the children are fussy and the children complain about walking like 5 fricken minutes and because they don’t have any parking in the immediate area during Monday-Friday 7am -10pm...maybe find another park. Perseverance will be rewarded.”

“Great place for doggos. Loads of space for them to run around and make friends. Got the beach right there too so they can go for a paddle. Bring some boots if it's rainy season though because the field gets pretty muddy.”

“When I fist heard "bog" I thought it would be weird and gross, but it is actually really beautiful and interesting. Less crowded than some of the other nature areas as well.”

“The parking situation at this entrance is less than ideal. I would suggest using the entry points further south if you can not find a parking spot at this place.”
