“Incredible museum to come and learn about the rich culture and heritage of the First Nations populations of the Pacific coast. I highly recommend joining a guided tour if one is going on—it’s free and in about 30 minutes you learn quite a bit! The museum is also very open and honest about how pieces were acquired, and the ongoing debates as to whether or not they should be displayed in public. The outside exhibits—set against a backdrop of mountains and sea—are stunning. Well worth a visit and easily accessible from downtown Vancouver via public transit (which also allows for a lovely walk through the UBC campus).”

“On a recent trip to Vancouver I took my wife,Rumi Murray, my sister Glenda Ramirez and my 38 year yoga instructor, Helena Stepkowski to the wonderful location on a golf course setting 17th hole at the University of British Columbia Golf Course. We went on a family walk around beautiful UBC and concluded our walk with what was an amazing visit to the BC Golf Museum. I could have stayed there for 10 hours looking at all the artifacts and history of British Columbia Golf. It's free and open to the public and one of the best things I did on my trip to British Columbia. This is a no-brainer for anybody that loves golf make sure you leave yourself enough time so you can check out all the wonderful history of British Columbia Golf.”
