Don’t listen to the negative reviews. Anyone that left a negative review here has never experienced Korean food. Everyone complaining about the service here, there’s a call button you can press for fast service. Whoever said they get a sore stomach as well probably are too white to handle the spice.

This place has a great vibe. They usually play kpop music or edm and it’s def on the louder side but that’s why it makes this place more fun for drinking. Soju and pitcher prices are very fair. Fried chicken is amazing. Kimchi pancakes are amazing. You really get a great experience here. Every time I’ve gone here and brought my uncultured friends, they absolutely loved it. The best part is the restaurant is open till late, 1am on weekdays and 2am on weekends. If you want the most fun late night dining experience with your friends downtown, this is the best place to be. Reminds me a lot of the traditional street style restaurants that are everywhere in Korea.

I could tell that they took great care with the food and my order and I was very impressed. I ordered delivery (they use a delivery company that I'm not crazy about, but this review is about the restaurant and their food). The prices might seem a bit on the higher side at first glance when looking at the delivery menu, but actually the portions are very generous, and they have great banchan included (side dishes). For example, the beef bulgogi says "for one" but I had enough for three to four portions (I added my own rice). I could tell they took great care because everything was so carefully packed (maybe too much, as there was plastic wrap in addition to the containers to make sure there wasn't spilling but maybe I would be thankful if there was an accident), they gave me extra special banchan or complimentary snacks (some deep fried fish cake balls were really nice and not normally something I would expect and I liked the little mayonnaise apple salad too. Possible that this is not normal but they felt bad that I had to re-order my meal due to the delivery person probably eating my food or throwing it away right after a delivery problem), and they even provided things like a bread crumb topping separately. I even had an issue with the delivery company and wound up having to order twice and they took the initiative to check with the company to make sure I didn't order twice accidentally. I also enjoyed the taste of everything. I had the carbonara rice cakes (creamy and cheesy, mushrooms, peppers, sausage), beef bulgogi (love that it has some potato noodle in it), and soy fried chicken (loved that the sauces were separate so things did not get soggy and that I could try different sauces with it). The included side soup was good too. I hope the experience is just as positive when I visit in person one day. Thank you, Hongdae Pocha. PS. I know it's a lot of plastic and I re-use containers as much as possible, but would very much welcome a change to non-plastic, compostable materials wherever possible.

This restaurant is my first choice site. Of all restaurants I know I prefere it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to visit this place. when I I need a delicious lunchon, this place comes right away to my head. splendid and all sorts of food and a large list of dishes.well mannered team, and great mood. And very important, the cost is good. I suggest this place with no doubt.

Their seafood udon was very delicious. My favorite item is the deep fried Soy chicken. Staff is very nice. Great place to hangout with friends and drink. Love how they open late night everyday.
