By far the best dessert on Denman , light fluffy tasty , family owned what more could u ask

The Cake Club has rapidly become my favourite dessert / treat stop. The cake pots (especially the red velvet and cream cheese) are delicious, the macaroons the perfect amount of squishy, fluffy, gooey, crunch, and I am hooked on the cookies (especially the chocolate cake one)! The owners are as sweet as their goods and nearly always have some mouthwatering samples available. Support this local business next time you fancy a treat :)

A hidden gem of the city. I've only ever visited for hot chocolate, but have been proferred cake samples anyway. The cakes tend light and fluffy, with satisfying-but-not-saccharine fillings and toppings. Hot chocolate is bespoke and always incredible.The owner is tremendously sweet, and you'll want to support him. Why go to Starbucks when you could come here?

This place is amazing and so is the owner. I came here just because I was waiting for a few friends to arrive so we can go somewhere else, and the sign of this place said "try or famous cakes in a cup" or something similar. So, I did try them. The owner was incredible. He was super nice and said that if I didn't like it, he will get me another flavour for free. He added chocolate sauce. He even offered me coffee for free because he had just made a fresh pot. He was super grateful and looked super hardworking. The cake itself was amazing. No complaints. I will definitely come back here because of the exceptional service and the amazing quality of the products. It is also located on Denman street by English Bay, which is one of my favourite places in the world. The store is open until like 10pm and I can only imagine if I lived near it, I would always get cake late at night. The price for what I got in the photo was about 5$, which is what I expected it to be. It was very worth it. One of the best cakes I ever had and definitely the best service.
