“It's really nice to have proper glasses for stay-in bubble tea rather than plastic. The to-stay bubble tea portions are huge (good for spitting!), and there's a decent variety of tea, but only tapioca pearls and coconut jelly. The menus were a bit haphazard, but easy enough to navigate. When I went, the server seemed a bit overworked/busy, but she was very polite and good at explaining the menu items. Cash or debit only, and the debit machine seemed to have connectivity issues occasionally, so it might be a good idea to come prepared with cash.”

You can tell the owners love their job and their customers since they’re super friendly and grateful for everyone that walks through their door. Only difficulty is that it’s mostly street parking at the front. Love coming here if I’m ever in the area!”

“Had the seafood hotpot and friend had the beef one. Turns out the spicy flavours are really spicy than expected. The staff told us how most people couldn't really finish the spicy dishes. If you ordered it too spicy you could always get more soup added to dilute it. My seafood one wasn't as spicy and the garnishes and chili on the side of the table are really good.”

“Great food that is high quality, fresh and tasty. It’s an amazing space for family dinners or brunches as there is a great kids menu as well as an area for them to play. It’s a bit pricier however, I think it’s worth it for the local fresh ingredients, the nice staff and the space. “Good sushi, great service, and super friendly staff! Best sushi in the main/king Edward area. Try the yam and avocado roll. Simple roll, but simply fantastic. Only downside is they charge extra for wild salmon, which is fairly standard these days but still disappointing. Would love to see them stop serving farmed salmon all together like some other fantastic sushi restaurants have started doing.”

“We had gnocchi with crispy shaved carrots. The flavour and the texture are well balanced that you just can’t put down your fork. The beer battered halloumi was also an eye opener. I wish I had the stomach to taste all the items on the menu. Everything is just perfect! “My first experience here and it was incredible! I am no stranger to vegan restaurants which is what made this place that much more special; it blew me away. The service was excellent, I believe her name was Anise? She was a doll. The gentleman who greeted us and checked on us (glasses, has tattoos) was so friendly and really charismatic. The Southern artichoke sandwich is literally die for. As for the onion rings, I think my boyfriend managed to eat one... They were outstanding. Definitely will be visiting here often. “Had a freshly steamed rock cod here. Very expensive, but cooked to perfection. The banquet hall is bustling, oftentimes raucious, and lively. Tanks of live seafood can be seen on one side of the room, while on the other, a local hockey game is projected onto a huge wall. Families come here to dine, to celebrate a birthday, or other special occasion. Service is prompt and efficient.”
