Parsley Berlin Style Doner-Kebab

Been wanting to try this place for a while. Fresh bread and fresh beef donair/durum are hard to find. Bread was nice meat was decent shaved like a good Berlin donair. Was a good platter. Would try again. service was ok food could have been more warm.

I've had lots of donairs/gyros/wraps offer the years but I never knew that Berlin-style doner was a thing.

I ordered the chicken doner which is very similar to most other donairs I've had but wrapped inside a soft pita.

To be truthful, I actual prefer Turkish-style donairs but the flavours here were pretty okay. They have rotating spits but you'll probably notice that the meat they use comes from a heated container. If you're wondering, health regulations in Canada require a secondary cooking method.

The doner they made was filled with a generous amount of chicken. Flavours were good but seemed to have too much sauce. They tried to grill the pita a bit but the pita was a bit too soft.

A bit expensive at $12 but prices in malls have gotten really high so this isn't too bad compared with other stalls here

They do have the shawarma grill, but they have kept all the meat in a food container.

I mean, what is the point of have a shawarma grill? Just for display? At the beginning I thought it was a temporary thing, but I been there for 3 times, and there was no improvement.

But the warp was acceptable.

I would modify my comments if I see a improvement.
