This is a lively park located beside a school and tucked into the urban sprawl. The Andy Livingstone field is at the south end and across the street. This area does have a edgy feel as there are homeless and those with substance abuse issues in the neighbouring areas. Its still a quaint park to chill and have a few beers so don't be swayed away. The pond overshadowed by the cherry blosoms and weeping willows are some of its better features.
Check out the Chinese Suanpan Abacus across the street at 35 Keefer. It's huge!
I love this park. It's sacred to me. If there is God I feel close to God here.
Great spot to play some soccer. It’s hit or miss if you show up without a league because sometimes it can be booked all day. The field is great but it’s a little rundown compared to trillium, which is nearby.
The facility and fields are quite nice. Unfortunately, the changing rooms and washrooms are inhabited by homeless people and are absolutely filthy.
