“City of Vancouver has done an amazing job in upgrading their community parks. Even though this is really out there.. not quite a neighborhood park. BUT the kids loved being here. Very safe and soft rubber surfaced park with good fun installations for the kids to play. All installations were well thought out and in great condition. The rock climbing on a slant wall for the kids to climb up and then slide down and the net pyramid with a suspension bridge took the cake. These are at an elevation when compared to a turf track where I guess one can go for a run with a good visual of the kids.”

“Kids still having plenty of fun, lots of things to do here. I especially love the rollercoaster in playland being so close. Just getting a bit worn looking. The city needs to replace some of the wood features and then repair the workout equipment.”

Clinton Park

Address: 2690 Grant St, Vancouver, BC V5K 3G9, Canada

Park

“So beautiful you can see the mountains from here and it’s just such an amazing view. Great views of the North Shore mountains and Burnaby as it stands on top of a hill. The playground is not big but sufficient. Beautiful views, lots of green space and a small playground. Decent park with a great view that looks towards the Brentwood area & all its shiny new developments. Apparently beautiful in the morning with the sun rising behind the buildings. Balanced atop a hill at one of the neighborhood’s highest points, the slopes of Sunrise Park offer appealing views of Capitol Hill, Burnaby Mountain, and, of course, a special sunrise. The open and inspiring setting is also great for a variety of outdoor sports.”

China Creek South Park

Address: 1161 E 10th Ave, Vancouver, BC V5T 2B6, Canada

Park

“As a general park, I'd rate it 3 stars, but the skate bowls not being too deep make it fun for our 8 yr olds to ride their bikes & scooters. The regular skateboarders can be intimidating & aggressive with the intention of keeping claim on the bowls, but they were willing to share the park after we stayed & made an effort to respect skate bowl etiquette. We made new friends through meaningful conversation about respectfully sharing this public place. The skaters can provide great mentorship to the kids on skateboarding, skate bowl etiquette & tricks. Don't be intimidated. Meaningful respectful engagement beats intimidation - win-win for everyone.”
