Very unusual, but at the same time delicious desserts! I recommend!
I have tried this place 3 times and I'm going to keep coming back! All their desserts are jam packed with flavour without being overly sweet. I find most Chinese desserts are too sweet, but this place uses minimal sugar. If your parents or grandparents complain all the time about desserts being too sweet, look no further. This is THE place for them!
One of the best spots you can go for traditional southern Chinese dessert. I’m so impressed at the real authentic ingredients they use, and without much advertisement, I can tell that the grass jelly, taro balls are made in house and of high quality. Thank you for the great food, they made my evening.
Lots of great choices to try, bringing reminders of similar dessert shops in Asia. We got some rice rolls as a savoury choice to balance the sweets. We also picked the black sesame rice balls, the gui ling gao, a purple yam sago, and a ginger milk pudding. Our favorite was the ginger milk pudding with a perfect balance of sweet with the ginger punch. The black sesame rice balls were yummy and portion was great for all of us to share. The gui ling gao had the familiar herbal taste but I prefer it without any condensed milk (a plain sugar cane syrup would have been fine). We would definitely come here again and support a local business! #thefirstdessert
