The pictures of the cake alone; paints a picture that the cake was taken for a magazine article to feature one of the beautiful bakers from Paris, France. How lucky did I feel to have found such amazing talent in Vancouver. Covid was a difficult time and she had always been so understanding and kind. Again, the cake was beyond our expectations and added additional wow factor to our wedding to make it the much more magica. Her prices are superb and the cake was just that - SCRUMPTIOUS, moist, flavourful. Wow. I 100% recommend Afnan, her pictures on IG are real and authentic. THANK YOU SCRUMPTIOUS YVR!”

“Saw their fish n chips at a grocery store, thought I'd give them a try. Absolutely delicious. Crispy cod, nice size pieces. Good fries. A bit more expensive than the big store offerings but well worth it. Ordered online a case of salmon and case of soup. Website says same or next day pickup. Email receipt says wait for email confirming order ready. Didn't get an email so 4 days later went to store. Order ready, must have been a glitch. Fantastic store. Well stocked. Clams, crabs and other goodies. Friendly counter person. Lots of parking. Covid protocols. Salmon very very good. Haven't tried soup yet, but looks good. Local outfit. My new go to for fish. Easy website. Free delivery with minimum order. Highly recommend.”

“Great variety of tasty Chinese dishes and convenient located. Roasted Crispy Skin Pork 燒肉 had a good balance of fat and lean meat layers with a crunchy coating. Honey BBQ Pork 叉燒 was juicy and really tender. Scallop, Eggplant & Soft Tofu in Spicy Sauce 漁香三子煲 was sizzling hot and yummy! Stir Fried Flat Rice Noodle with Beef & Green is flavourful and not too oily.”

“The atmosphere of the place is amazing and very comfy. it is very clean and the employees are really kind when you walk into the establishment. Once, you walk in you will smell the great aroma of the pizza being created in the back. The pizza being created is not your regular pizza being found in your typical pizza joint but, the ingredients being used is from freshly made dough, fresh vegetables, and cheese. The deals are also amazing this is because they have deals that will make “my god that’s cheap but, you got all that though” and example of this would be the 2 medium pizzas and 4 cans of pop for $21. If I were you I should just go order some Pizza Pizza and take a bite of that delicious pizza.”

“I've always liked Fresh Slice for the sauces it offered, as not many other places offer a white garlic based sauce or a pesto sauce. I also think they have a good amount of selection for vegetarian toppings, which is definitely a plus for me personally. But I gave it a 3-star rating prior to this because several times, I had been missing some toppings here or there. I didn't think it was big enough a reason to make a proper complaint out of it as it's covid times, I get that places are busy and mistakes can sometimes happen, people are doing the best they can. But the manager of this location took the time out to follow up on my rating and ask for feedback and apologized for the experience--I really didn't expect this sort of excellent customer service from a chain restaurant that's been around for so long. I rarely write reviews anyway as most places I don't feel strongly enough to publicly make a statement about; the one time I did write another review at length it was a bad one, and that owner never once reached out to me. But here at Fresh Slice they did! I feel cared about as a customer, and it feels like they genuinely work towards bettering their customer satisfaction, so I was very impressed with this gesture. I definitely will be a returning customer!”
