“Visited this clinic for an emergency visit after some acute eye irritation didn’t resolve on it’s own. Dr. Patricia Rupnow was courteous and kind, and although she was rushed trying to fit me in for a brief appointment between already booked patients, she recognized that something wasn’t right, treated me quickly and efficiently, and had me booked in at a more appropriate time for a quick follow-up. The staff at the office also seemed kind, compassionate, and highly competent. I would highly recommend her and this office if you are in need of eye care. The one caveat I might add is that despite having a rather significant portion of their website dedicated to emergency care, they don’t seem to be set up to deal with any significant number of acute/walk-in emergencies, and a sign on the door states an email is required before being seen. I’m not sure what effect COVID has had on their service, and I felt accommodated despite this, but I think that I was the exception, not the rule. I wouldn’t show up here and expect to be treated immediately... hospital’s emergency departments might be a better choice for emergency care.”

“So I woke this morning with half my crown missing. Must of chipped it while I was sleeping. This couldn’t of been the worst timing as I am in Vancouver for a month long trip. Dr Fung’s staff was very understanding of my situation and was able to get me in same day. Unknowing of what I was able to get done. Dr Fung was very thorough in explaining what was able to be done. He bonded the missing part and I have to say it looks better than the full crown. Hopefully all my teeth stay intact for the rest my trip. But if they don’t I would definitely go back to Dr Fung.”
