“We just brought our entire company & spouses here to celebrate Christmas in July & this crew at the Lodge - Jeff, Dave, Shannon, Cory, the chefs & the rest of the team went above & beyond! Seriously take me back! It’s a summer retreat of rest, relax & reset! So many things to do, try & experience. I am excited to go back & see all that they are working on to add to this already amazing place. I mean this place is magical! GET IT ON YOUR BUCKET-LIST! Thanks Team Keefer Lake!”

“Service was ok. Ordered the chicken parmesan and it was raw. Sent it back and when server brought it back we were told it was a brand new piece when in fact it was the same piece we had already cut in to. When it was sent back to be recooked we were given a "complimentary" bowl of chips and when the bill came we were in fact charged for the chips.”

“We recently got a trailer and decided that this would be a good place to take it for the maiden voyage. We had been there tenting a couple months prior and had a good time. So figured we would meet up with a long time friend that we were camping there with 20 years ago. Great area to go for a hike and let the kids explore. Will definitely be going back next year after the winter is over.”

“Our "1990 Triple E" motor home was coughing and spitting so I thought I would turn around and head back into civilization. Providence would have it we died in a RV campsite.lol 3 night's later after many a yarn with Paddy plus he not only went into town to pick up a part but Paddy installed it.Great place and a even greater host.”

“Best place to go and have an amazing and chill weekend or however long you want to stay, there are rentals for short or long term and lots of activities and an amazing lake on The Shuswaps.”

“We stayed for 1 week in cabin 1 in August. The cabin is pretty old but so cozy. Air conditioning was great to have on those hot hot days. We had most of the beach to ourselves as this resort has mostly privately owned park models. We were able to purchase fire wood for $20. Clean shared laundry facilities are coin operated. This park has a locked entrance gate so we felt really safe with grandkids able to bike the paved roads by themselves.”

“We stayed in chalet two for three very peacful relaxing days. The chalet is exactly as described. If you are looking for a spotless, well equipped and place you cannot go wrong with this chalet. We did not hear a single car during our entire stay. A short fifteen or twenty minute drive will put you in Salmon Arm or Enderbry. There are many lakes within a short drive. If you enjoy wine a short fifteen minute drive you can visit Larch Hills Winery, highly recommended. We would definetly come back to the Blue Bird Chalet!”

“The owners are so friendly and fun! This campground has all the amenities you could possibly hope for while still getting a camping experience. There are regulations in place to help prevent the spread of COVID which makes me so much more comfortable. You don’t have to feel hesitant about enjoying your time here!! Dog friendly, showers, a pool, mini golf, parks and biking areas, a general store for ice and firewood and so close to the lake! Love this spot, can’t recommend enough and will definitely be back.”

“We had such a wonderful family retreat at Lavender cottage! What a fabulous place to hunker down for a few days, play games, eat great food together, and to hike around on the beautiful snow-covered trails. We loved the ambience of the cottage with its spaciousness, great views, and wood-warmth comfort. There are too many cool features to list but one of my favourites was the warming oven on the back side of the fireplace. The only down side of our getaway was that it was too short! We were there for two nights which meant only one full day to enjoy this enchanting woodland retreat. We will just have to return sometime and spend more days there. And we will bring our cross-country skis next time!! The trail system on the property is splendid. Thank you Maggie and family for your hospitable services. (And thanks to Carbon for guiding us out--we hope he wasn't too tuckered out!)”

“Great camping experience with awesome owners. For $20 we even had electricity at our tent. Pit toilet. Outdoor loony shower with warm water. No smoking and no wood fires permited on the campground. Good cellphone coverage. Bring mosquito repellent.”

“The campground had a mix of sun and shade, and the water was amazing. Outhouses are plentiful and washrooms/showers were clean. The beach area was great for the kids with the dock to jump off of. Staff was very friendly.”

“Had the best burger and the very best fries I've ever had, Aug 20th about 1pm. Whoever was the chef please pass along your skills, absolutely awesome. Now we take a drive for lunch there every 3 weeks from Kelowna. Great outdoor scenery and beautiful golf resort there too.”

“We’ve stayed at the Shuswap River House on a few occasions, and always enjoy ourselves. The open air sleeping loft provides a beautiful view of the river and its wildlife in the morning. Bedding has always been warm and comfortable, providing an amazing sleep. The hosts are welcoming and friendly…as are all of the farm critters. It’s a great place to spend the night as you travel, or take a weekend get away. We will definitely stay here again, and recommend friends.”

“This was a great family spot, with a nice (smaller) sandy beach and Lake area. Boat rental options at the marina were excellent, and campground had good facilities (hot showers, laundry, playground, fire wood, store, ice cream shop, etc.) Layout of site probably better for trailers than tents. Also, there is NO cellular service in the whole area, very limited wifi just at the store, but for us this made a great disconnected holiday. Golf course was good, and pickle ball courts too.”

“This was just lovely. For the price we enjoyed the uniqueness of it. If you're expecting a Holiday Inn experience that's NOT what you get here. The rooms smell of faint smoke and its small with not the greatest of beds. But with that said, the hotel is solid and clean. It has everything you need; fresh towels, soaps, bed, TV, clean bedding and very kind people. Don't let the office manager deter you; he's very kind just not the best on the phone. We were allowed our golden retriever there too! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! Pick fresh fruit in the morning too from their lush greenery.”

“We just finished up a great four day camping trip here. It's a perfect spot for kids - playground, bike trails, fishing from the beach and nice swimming areas. There are both dog beaches and no-dog beaches. The campsite was clean, had a great firewood system and was quiet. It was one of two provincial parks we have been to this year that actually kept on top of cancelled reservations making sure people knew which sites were available for a night or two - way to go to the staff/hosts. Other provincial campgrounds we have visited this summer had prime sites sit empty for nights which was a shame because we saw many people drive through and leave thinking there was no place to stay.”

“The staff is polite and never made us feel we are not being helped. We were a group of 5 and our request of checking the cleanliness of the bed was immediately met when we arrived. We will prefer this on our next stay. Prices were reasonable.”
