“Ancient bank with old wood floors repurposed as a yoga studio. The space is beautiful. I have only seen one teacher here Leyna, and would recommend her but don't know much about the others. Yoga classes are approachable and not too fussy. Suitable for beginner to intermediate. You usually pay online ahead of time and then drop in, there's a monthly rate if you want to go a lot or a variety of prices based on how often you plan to attend. You need a mat, but other equipment is provided.”

“As a patient mainly of Dr. L Burechailo I can personally say I have never received better treatment. As someone who works in heath care I often see issues brushed aside but that has never been the case when visiting any physician at family tree. Leta in particular has gone out of her way to foster an amazing relationship, I always feel like I can share everything and anything with Leta without judgment. Some doctors won’t admit when they aren’t sure of something; that is not the case in this clinic. I have personally been referred or met almost every physician/practitioner in this clinic including Dr. Moorewood, Dr. May, Dr. Watson and Nurse Practitioner Erin and I could not have been more pleased with the way everyone treated me. The multidisciplinary team that is available at family tree is unreal, we are especially lucky in a small town like Powell river. I could not be more thankful to all the physicians and staff at family tree for their constant support throughout my recovery and I truly could not have done this without them. Anyone would be lucky to have the practitioners at family tree involved in their treatment.”

“Probably the best option in Powell River if you want to be in the centre of town. We had an ocean view King room but true ocean view is on the top floor suites only. We saw the ocean from our room but we also overlooked garbage dumpsters out back next to the parking lot plus heard a lound vent every morning. Carpet in room looks worn with stains. Pillows are super flat. Asked front desk for firmer pillows but they didn't appear. No front desk service outside of 9am-6pm. No amenities outside the spa. We were out hiking or kayaking most days so this hotel was fine to crash at night - it's very average and feels more like a motel.”
