“I did not actually stay here but I most definitely would! The lovely owner raised the most caring daughter I have ever had the pleasure to meet. The daughter Alex, is an angel in disguise. Alex's husband is a tow truck driver who rescued my Mom and I on 97C to Logan Lake. He called Alex to pick up my Mom and I on the side of the highway and drive us to Logan Lake. She packed up her 3 year old and drove us to our destination at 9:30 at night. SO YES, i would definitely stay at the bed and breakfast of the person who raised such a beautiful daughter!”

We were a Google review stop and it was well worth anything we yet experienced. Breakfast was outstanding. Robert and his wife shared the love they have for this “Shack”. It is no shack! We as ones from the states waited to have poutine from a place that knew how to make it, and not some chain. It was Devine. Swiss coffee with cream and fresh maple syrup. I’m changed for life. Then we had their beef main recipe that came with special mustard sauce (sample). If this is the only place you stop on Hwy 97 it will be well worth it! Stop at any cost in your schedule!!! Thank you so much!”

“We had a fantastic stay in the Dutch Room! Adrianna was very friendly and welcoming. We called last minute and she was still able to accommodate us. The room itself was gorgeous! The bed was large and very comfortable with great sheets. The bathroom felt incredibly luxurious with a large bathtub and great conditioner. The breakfast was delicious and had a nice variety of breads, cheeses, fruits, yogurts, and meats. Would highly recommend staying here!”

“Not a lot of places to gas up and shop in 70 Mile House, so I was grateful to find the happy, helpful folks at this general store. Plenty of essentials on the shelves and a little food corner/deli as well. Washrooms were wonderfully clean. Good place to stop.”

“Nice basic roadside motel in a great location. We are staying for two nights and so far very pleased with the set up. There is a small fridge and microwave. Sheets and towels are spotless and white. I had a hot shower and the heat in the room worked easily. Netflix, Disney etc.. to stream anything you want on a new model flatscreen tv. General store across the street is handy too. The pub next door is closed but the Sugar shack 2 min up the road is supposed to be good for breakfast. The owner, Harrison, is really nice and helpful too.”

“I was shocked at the high level of service and quality! The whole family enjoyed their meal and we tried a number of menu items. Food came out in a pretty timely fashion despite the fact that they just got slammed with a ton of customers. Eating out these days is pricey, but you won’t be sorry eating at Eddy’s considering the value for money! Can’t wait to return next summer!”
