“I'm almost sad to rate this wonderful mountain delight 3 stars but unfortunately after having to deal with the rude, self centered, egotistical and worst of all argumentative " agent" at the desk this morning I would've actually rated 0 stars. We come here either as a family, couple or friends on average twice a year and we're actually here this time because our daughter wanted to get married at this gorgeous property. From the moment we checked in last night our expectations were far surpassed!! The young lady that checked us in was so delightful, magnetic, funny and most importantly 100% customer focused and driven. She literally was so inviting and sweet we wanted to pack her home with us. We even offered her a position with our company, a luxury retreat on the west coast ( This still stands Tatiana). She is everything that symbolizes customer service and is everything the WETCO approach to hiring stands for. She doesn't just make an effort , she makes ALL the right efforts... 1) smile warmly make eye contact 2) Engage, show people you ARE interested 3) Communicate, talk to them! 4) Yes attitude, of course I'd be happy to 5) Ownership 6) Most importantly, have fun because when you're having fun your guests are having fun. She is the model of WOW customer service . We were absolutely stunned when we learned she was brand new and was entry level GSA, we thought she was for sure in a management position. She gave us everything we needed and then some. She is the ONLY reason I'm giving ANY stars or any positive review whatsoever! Great job Tatiana, I apologize if I misspelled your name dear. Now unfortunately on to the horrendous agent this morning. I called to book a pool time as we were told to do and here's where the service begins to falter . The girl I spoke to Ira, I believe she said her name was ( she was at the desk when we went down as well, dark hair tall , slender with an accent and unbelievably rude). Not the younger sweet blond girl. First she told me that I would have to call back to book my time, so I asked if it would be easier to come down, she replied if that's what you want to do?!? So we went downstairs... I then inquired about the delicious sounding brunch buffet that Tatiana gushed about for our breakfast option. She told us that there was no buffet, we told her Tatiana told us about it. She then gave a eye roll and said she doesn't know what she's talking about there is no buffet. Who speaks like that about co-workers? Unbelievable! Needless to say there WAS a buffet style brunch and she was incorrect. The breakfast buffet was between 7am and 11am and was delicious! We again asked about the pool at which point she became more argumentative then to begin with. I really don't appreciate being told I'm wrong when it comes to my opinion on things I like to eat and do, especially by a pompous, rude, ill mannered agent, and to think that she's the supervisor ( which she informed us was her title after asking for management) is beyond disheartening. From that point on we refused to communicate with the front desk. I cannot stress the importance of customer service strongly enough. We have been owners in the hospitality industry for over 50 years and first impressions are key. They can make or break a customer's entire stay and word of mouth especially with social media etc. is also one of our biggest assets/tools in the industry but it's also more valuable in the sense if someone is looking for their next holiday and reads reviews. Word of mouth travels fast but reviews are faster and stay out there permanently. So in closing, My daughter will still be booking her wedding here A) because of the outstanding stunning property B) because your 1 front desk agent Tatiana literally made my daughter want to include her in our family but especially in helping make these special memories. Oh and I must mention the updates to the rooms are outstanding! They literally have every WOW factor. Outstanding! In closing to my long winded review, C”

“Location and individual units are great. We had a full kitchen and eating area to make family Christmas feel like home. The housekeeping staff were hard to get service after lunch. We even approached one and asked for towels and then came back in the evening to find out we had been forgotten about. Wouldn't have been as bad, but we declined service the first day, then were told there was was no service on Christmas, so Boxing Day we were ripe and ready for new towels.”

“Our visit to Sun Peaks Mtn to go mountain biking was great. All the staff there from getting our passes, to the crew at Fall Line Tuning & Repair Centre, the chairlift crew and Masa's bar and grill were top of the line to deal with. The conditions and the amount of trails were some of the best we have rode. They have trails for everyone and are well looked after. If you are in the Kamloops area, you don't want to miss a visit to the resort and some great riding.”

“We stayed here for a little stay-cation. The staff treated us well and throughly explained the hotels Covid policy. We had the pleasure of staying in unit 307. The loft style set up makes it feel airy and roomy. It also has a pull out sofa which makes it nice to have the kids stay down below while we stayed above in the loft. It’s also at a prime location, being right at the base of the ski hill with delicious food at Bottoms pub, just added to the convenience of it all. Be sure to bring a vehicle that’s 6’5 or smaller to fit into the underground parking.”

“Sun Peaks is a beautiful, cute, little mountain resort with spectacular views all around you. There is a small but interesting village at the base of the 3 mountains, with lots of neat shops, restaurants, and galleries. There are lots of activities to do all year round to satisfy everyone's recreational desires. From lakes, horseback riding, golfing in the spring/ summer to skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing and many more winter activities. I have yet to buy my season's pass for the 2022 season, but I've heard from many of my neighbors there that Sun Peaks has, by far, the best snow in Canada so I can't wait to start skiing there this coming Winter. If you are staying local to BC, for travelling this year, I recommend you check out Sun Peaks Resort; you wont be disappointed you did!”

“We booked this last summer, and going in knew it would be pretty awesome, having been in a similar place last year. The townhomes are conveniently located, well furnished, and spacious. We had parking for three cars, and slept 10 people! It was an easy walk to the village, but the kitchen is perfectly stocked if you want to stay in.”

“If I was going to choose one word to describe this place it would be "quirky". It wasn't what I was expecting but I loved my stay. Cute corner room with a fireplace next to the ski storage room. Ski in-and-out to my door. Clean room, big comfy bed, cozy reading corner! I had a long day coaching and was 5 minutes into a cup of tea when the owners brought be down some snacks! It was so very appreciated. The owners are adorable, yes their english isn't great, but that doesn't hinder their service at all. Their is also a super cute kitty to great you at the door. I like weird and different places so place has completely tickled my fancy!”

“Our Family of 4 stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment pod in August 2020 for 3 nights. The price was fantastic for the style of room and amenities. It was a home away from home. The manager, Mandy, is amazing. She went over and above to help us with anything and everything. It is unfortunate that the unit was so close to the busy mountain access road and that construction of the new building is in progress. Crews worked from 7am to about 4pm. I also didn't realize that the Village is a 2.5 KM drive away. I think the Ski in ski out access is ideal with the lifts across the road, but walking to the village in summer is a bit of a LONG walk, so we had to drive. We enjoyed a late afternoon paddle board at Heffley Lake. As well as Downhill mnt biking at sunpeaks. This was a very safe and enjoyable Covid vacation. We cooked our meals in and the kitchen is well stocked.”

“First time here. Richard who runs the place is fantastic and so full of energy. Breakfast meals are more than substantial and.nice to have afternoon "tea". Our room was clean and well appointed. We gave this a 4 star rating only because the rooms have no food preparation facilities. Only a small fridge and no microwave, dishes or any other amenities related to preparing any kind of food. There is a communal microwave which helped. We just did not feel like going out to.eat dinner at a restaurant every night so had to get creative. We would recommend this place just be prepared to eat out. Great lakes in the area. Recommend doing the loop on the west side of the river. Take in a winery and cross over on the small , 2 car, ferry for a local experience”
