“View is perfect! Make sure you wear shoes! Doesn't have to be hiking shoes but anything other than sandals work, trail is easy with a cupple hills to walk up and the path is uneven terrian for about half of it but the view was totally worth it. Walked for about an hour on the short trail there and back total”

“Great location, it's very close to the lake. The cabins were outdated for sure, it has all the necessity you need but the owners/caretakers were always on our tail with small things. The fire on our pit was ok and we were told it was too high, meanwhile the other cabins they had it really high. Additional plus is its very family oriented but could be better with the cabins it self.. 3/5 but would not stay again here.”

“Our stay at the Hotel at Falcon Lake was memorable. The rooms were super clean and the views (location) were amazing. The food at the restaurant (Black Bear Tavern) was really good, as well as their staff and their service. They we were really kind and accommodating towards us. The check in was easy and no problems what so ever regarding our room. The staff and the owner of the hotel were kind and always asked us about how our day was doing and if our rooms were to our liking. They were very accommodating and whenever we had request they would see to it right away. We will be back again soon to book with the hotel!”

Onion rings were fantastic and curly fries were great. Owners were the servers along with their family members. You can also order the ice cream from there as well!”

“Great place to go for an afternoon of mini golf and tennis. The mini golf is tons of fun however the course is becoming a bit dated. That being said it is a longer course then you find nowadays. Can be very busy on weekends and there may be some waiting for the group in front, but that’s how it is anywhere you play that is busy, in no way the facilities fault. If that’s an issue, go during the week or avoid mid day when it’s bumping with people. All in all worth adding to your list of things to do while at Falcon Lake.”

“Arriving at the parking lot there were a swarm of black flies constantly hitting the windows; sounded like hail. Once I sprayed bug repellant got out and was ready for the trail. I run 2k and walk 4k everyday to prepare for hikes. This trail was amazing. It is about 5.8k both ways. Requires stamina and focus. The weather was hot and muggy. I was surprised when I reached the end I was out of breath and dripping with sweat. The rocks seem mysterious and the lake scene is breath taking. Glad I wore proper shoes. Tried to have a peaceful lunch, but the bugs were hungrier than me. Sprayed bug spray again after reaching the end of the peninsula. The bathroom is newer and clean.”

“Super nice course, well maintained, but also super expensive. Probably the hardest greens I’ve ever played, balls don’t stop even if they hit the hole. You’ll also lose many balls so be prepared to spend a lot of $$ when playing here. Have fun”
