“Wow this trail was tough! I would consider myself a beginner/intermediate hiker, and would give this trail a 4/5 difficulty for its terrain. It’s very rocky, there are lot of trees roots, and there are a lot of steep inclines and declines. The signage on the way out is fine but is very confusing on the way back. I recommend going on a cool day with plenty of water and snacks. I definitely don’t recommend this hike for beginners. Overall this trail is incredibly beautiful and the challenge was worth it”

“I go to West Hawk Lake all the time with my family! I love it. The water is clean, everyone is friendly. The bathrooms are usually always clean. The food restaurants are so good, cheap and bigger portions!! The grocery store owners will kinda watch you more closely if you come in with a group of friends. But they aren't outright rude.”

“Just back home from spending a week at keystone resort! Love, love, love it there! The owners are super friendly and make you feel like family! Mike(the owner) was attentive to our every need and was so helpful. I had the pleasure of staying in cabin #16. The cabin was fresh and clean for me upon my arrival. There was a nice big hot tub and full kitchen inside..soo comfortable! The store had everything to keep me stocked up for the week at great prices. The beach was a short walk away and many ice cream places along my walk. I set out for a week of rest and relaxation and wow keystone resort hit every note perfectly for me!! If you want that warm home town feel with amazing accommodations for a great price?..keystone resort will go above and beyond for you to feel warm and welcome!!!”

“Nice place to walk, I think the trail isn't in good shape, is easy lose the track and be lost, you can see different birds, have nice view. Also I guess the difficult is media to hard not properly to kids under 12. The grass and shrubbery are so high and crossing the trail that hinder walk properly. Also a lot of blueberries and raspberries bush.”

“Interesting place. We got one of the cabins with a lake view which was lovely. The four star review instead of five is due to the cardboarded up window with bugs stuck to the tape so it's been this way for a while. So if you're sitting on the couch you can see past an unsightly obstacle. The kitchen was well supplied although bathroom towels would be nice. It looks like a cabin that's been around a while but still has a few more good years in it.”

“Amazing experience! We have been to North and West of Manitoba and out of all the places that I have visited, this one has great customer experience, clean boats, friendly locals, and clean lake. If you are fishing be patient and if your forget something at home fishing related, this place will have you covered at their little shop. They also have dog life jackets which is awesome!”
