I went in for a knee issue and found the physio to be very knowledgeable and thorough with his assessment. After his assessment I got ultrasound done, TENS and an exercise program shown to me and emailed. I will definitely be returning here. It was very homey and I love supporting local, small businesses. “We were in their walk-in clinic on Sunday mid day. The entrance was confusing, the front door was locked, so figured out to go from the back. There was supposed to be a security person on the main floor, but it was empty, so we went directly to the clinic floor. I think because we had Covid like symptoms, we were put in the doctors room right away, so to avoid a contact in the waiting room. We spent 1.5 hours waiting to be seen! That is negative. But the appointment itself was great for a walk-in. Nurse practitioner listened to all the symptoms, was very knowledgeable, made physical exam to check and confirm what we said. Then she called in a doctor who also checked everything and they explained that we did not need antibiotics after all. We've been into many clinics before with similar symptoms and never had such a good service and check up and I guess we were given antibiotics just cause, which is not good for your body”

“To agree with one of the previous review CJ and Taylor are actually close friends of mine and phenomenal trainers. CJ holds (at time of writing this) the women 47kg bench press record and Taylor has squatted over 600 lbs in competition. They know their stuff and have achieved a high level of accomplishment. Great people and I know for a fact they are always willing to take on new clients when they can! The gym is great, a little far from me but i try to go whenever I can. My coach works out of there and has helped me immensely.”

“Sherwin and his team are excellent! I have done strength and vertical training for basketball in small group settings. The training program was customized to my needs (older knees, haha) and the movements were dynamic and fun! I did a 2 month program with a friend and we saw improvement that affected our play on the court. Would highly recommend for high level or rec league athletes alike. As for the facilities themselves, it’s an intimate setting because it’s a smaller gym but they have literally everything you’d need and more, compared to the big box gyms.”

“Total Rehabilitation is the right name for this business. I had an injury to my back. Slipped disc with the most intense sciatic pain. The classic, “some people never recover.” “If it doesn’t improve we will look into surgery.” Wanseok Choe was not easy on me. He did the charged acupuncture needles, cupping, cracking, full range of exercises. I joke that it was like that rack torture scene from the Princess Bride, but in a good way. Anyways, I saw him regularly, stuck to his exercises and today my back feels better than it did 20 years ago. Sounds corny but it’s true. Just a kind dude too.”

“I only have a couple of beefs with this place. The exam and x-rays are not covered. I don't have to pay for this with other dentists. Also, I have to pay a little extra out of pocket because the fees are a bit higher than what's covered. However... I trust them to do the work that's needed. No unnecessary work done here. You pay a little more out of pocket, but it's worth it for honour and integrity. Too many dentists are unethical. Shine Dental seems to be on the up and up. Costs more but it's worth it.”
