“Nice cozy ambience with very friendly staff, its our first time trying out Amai Sushi so the focus of this meal was to determine if this sushi place is worth a second visit and that is by judging the quality of the sushi rice and fish. So we went ahead and ordered out staples: first off the miso soup was good which is always a good indicator of what to expect in a sushi place IMO, the tea was just ok but Im picky with my genmaicha so….. As for the nigiris, rice to fish ratio was on point, fatty tuna and fatty salmon are superb and a must try! Red snapper was good, unagi was just ok (too sweet) aburi salmon is very good as well. I don’t recommend the Salmon Fire Donut, I would rather opt to go for the Aburi Salmon instead. The Tempura was good, light and crispy with good tempura sauce. Takoyaki was ok, a bit tiny with a nugget of octopus. Yakisoba was ok, lacking that smoky taste I was craving for. Overall Amai Sushi is a welcomed addition to the sushi scene in Winnipeg and definitely warrants a must try and a second visit (to try some of the rolls and donburis) fish quality is definitely good, the only thing holding me back to give it 5 stars is that I feel it is a bit too expensive.”

I’ve never seen a better stocked beer fridge in my entire life, and I’ve seen at least one other beer fridge! My buddy Liam lives in Transcona. He loves beer. Caitlin loves beer. “I drove to the agency on Stapon road today. Actually it took several tries to find how to get in as there is no parking for other than employees. Then I saw that they do not accept walk ins and this had been my final hope to get an answer on how to amend my filed return. Well two employees who were just going in to work stopped and asked if they could help me. They were so kind and caring and the one told me how to do it online. “Sales associate was very helpful I came in on my lunch break I didn’t catch her name she asked what I was looking for showed me a few selections got my name set up a changing room for the selected items I had chosen as I looked around for other items to try on. The associate gave me space as she assisted other clients she observed from a distance for when I was ready to go to my change room she set up for me. I asked if they had a bomber styled light sweater with zipper she said they didn’t have anything right now however the fall season styles were coming out and suggested looking on the website for newer styles posted and that I’d be able to order them online or through the store directly, Store: 1092 Reg: 02 Trans: 5185 Date: 09/09/22 Time: 12:51 Cashier: 564349 Cashier was very helpful as well she asked if I was a member so I thought I had a member# I hadn’t used in years she reset a profile up for asked when my birthday was as they offered birthday discount I verbally provided the date as it was within 30 days I was still eligible for the discount if I could produce ID confirming turned out I was eligible for the discount on the items I purchased today so that made my visit that much better. I mentioned twice how happy I was with the sales associate that assisted me in the floor and the very friendly / helpful service while I was checking out she said that she would mention to the associate how pleased I was with my visit. I’m taking this extra step so everyone is able to know how fabulous my experience was today thank you 🙏”

“I think this has been my best experience at a sephora so far! It was big and organized inside, and had things that I haven't seen at other stores. The employees were super helpful and sweet and made sure customers knew which products were and weren't on sale. I want to shout out employee Meghan, who helped me at the register. “Just saw Toque playing last night, they were very entertaining....a great night out. But what's up with the bartenders ringing those bloody cow bells every 10 minutes??? A regular to Nashville's said the bell was rung every time someone tipped. What? Is this supposed to prompt others in tipping? It was very distracting and I found it borderline rude to be banging them while the band was playing. Serving food would be a nice touch too.”
