“Excellent service at a very friendly family owned massage place! They direct bill to your insurance and offer 2 hour massages which are hard to find ones who direct bill! I went to Ian the co-owner who was very kind knowledgeable. They also have a small parking lot and parking is easy to find on the street nearby as well. Do yourself a favour and book an appointment, your muscles will thank you! Will definitely be going again!”

“To put it simple, Vern is absolutely amazingly awesome. During the months I had him as my counselor he has helped me through what I see as some of my biggest life struggles to date. He is warm and friendly, actually sees not only who you are but what you need to be the person you are meant to be. He is very supportive and encouraging of people of all backgrounds and lifestyles. His demeanor is that of calm and empathy and you will never feel judged or embarrassed opening up to him which makes him very approachable. Many times it more like talking to a friend than a therapist. The only reason he is no longer my therapist is because I am moving away from Manitoba otherwise I'd still continue to see him. Vern from the bottom of my heart I thank you for everything you did for me, coached me on and brought out in my life.”

“How has it taken so long to get this type of place into Wolseley/West Broadway?! A beautiful space, seeking divided into a brewpub vibe (at the front) and nicer dining (at the back/side). A solid selection of Good Neighbour beer on draught. It was pretty busy and we had to wait to get in, but it's also the 4th day since they opened. Lots of staff/servers around, and they were super friendly. The food looked pretty good, though I kept it simple with the tasty fried potatoes.”

“Dr. Ling Zhao is the only person that healed my nerve pain and inflammation in my neck, arms, and back! I have been to 3 neurologists, a medical doctor in both Victoria Hospital and Health Sciences Centre, I tried a chiropractor, athletic therapy and a few physiotherapists for years and no one was able to help me with my pain. All they would tell me is that I need to stretch, exercise and live with the pain. Do you know how frustrating that is?! We have a horrible medical system. I see her every other month to maintain the pain. I wish I could afford to go every month! She's friendly, easy to talk to about the issues I'm experiencing and never pushes you to book future appointments. She lets her work speak for itself. The combination of massage and acupuncture that she does feels so good and her hands are super strong. I love the deep tissue massage on my pain points. If you give her a try, you won't regret it!”

“I've had two sessions so far with Lauren and have had great experiences so far. She makes sure to ask about your specific needs, and always has such a gentle but friendly demeanor. I was having an issue with muscles in my right foot for the last 7 or so months, and in one session she cut the pain in half so I can walk normally again! She's also very realistic when explaining what she sees and how much she can help, or what kind of timelines to expect. And the heated table she uses is a huge plus, too, as is the music she plays. Looking forward to my next session!”

“Great services, not so great delivery. The people seem nice and appear to do what they can if you are personally with them or on their first message to you. But then they will not respond. I've tried to make so many appointments to see the nurse or laundry but miss it because they either don't tell me they made the appointment or they just.... Never respond. And never have I ever received an apology for them leaving me hanging for weeks at a time. I'll follow up my own message asking where theyre at and they respond more than a week later with an unrelated message, like they've simply forgotten or something. Would be nice if they apologized because that's basic needs, stuff like IDs and healthcare I'm missing out on. Ray is my only way of seeing nurse Amanda right now but hard when they say they'll book you in and never do. I go in-person but they say I have to "contact the mental health team". I do, then watch them not respond all week and then when they finally do, they act like nothings wrong. A "sorry I'm late" would be really really nice. The app has helped this a little bit but I stress the word little. Even the caseworkers for level up appear too busy to be able to upkeep a reasonable amount of contact with their students. I like the vibe of the place when I go in-person I feel like I can get what I need without judgement but it's when they send you on your way with promises of later contact that your heart drops because you know it won't happen. Also sucks when you find a staff member who'll do what they can and respond timely, but then they leave and no one takes over their work so you're just left hanging and you've no idea it happened.”
