“This was our first time zip lining and won’t be our last! The instructors Cody and Brandy were great! They were very friendly and knowledgeable and went out of their way to make sure we had fun and enjoyed our time up in the air. The views from the towers were amazing! Highly recommended.”

Winnipeg Beach Dog Beach

Address: Winnipeg Beach, MB, Canada

Zoo

“This place is amazing. Not a lot of parking but you get a great walk through Winnipeg Beach town or the board walk. Everyone seems to be on the same page and friendly. This place is worth the drive from the city. Located near the iconic Winnipeg Beach water tower.”

The 10 Acre Woods

Address: 38084 Vine Haven Rd, Anola, MB R5L 0J6, Canada

Zoo

“Most Amazing rescue farm! August long weekend 33 people descended on 10 acre woods, as I had set up a group goat yoga class for my family reunion. Not only was Tara and her volunteers accommodating they made everyone feel comfortable and we had such a splendid time bonding with the animals and just being silly. I HIGHLY recommend this cute farm you will not be disappointed.”

Assiniboine Park Zoo

Address: 2595 Roblin Blvd, Winnipeg, MB R3R 2N7, Canada

Zoo

“I am rating it as 3 stars because they claim the zoo is open winter and summer. I went during winter and, unfortunately, I didn't fully experienced the visit. The "warm zones" are sometimes too spread out in the zoo and some are really closed to each other. Animal selection is awesome, we loved to see them. Some were sleeping, but hey, that shouldn't change your experience. Location is a bit far from city center, but easily accessible. Staff was friendly and they looked devoted to work their. Price was fair, 43$ with taxes for 2 adults, and the buildings look well maintained. Pathway in the zoo is good, but not well indicated on the map (mostly because it was winter). Overall, winter experience may not be for everyone, and not convenient for families with young children (hard to push strollers in snow). Pathways are plowed, but there's still ice/snow on them. Summer experience should be awesome though.”

Toucan Ridge

Address: Assiniboine Park, Winnipeg, MB R3P 2N7, Canada

Zoo

“The zoo is always a pleasure, if you can afford it, and the "tropical house" as it was called when I was little is a great place in any event, doubly so on cold windy days if you are looking for a reprieve from the cold while you wander the outdoor exhibits. As well as the birds there are some small primates and an aquarium/terrarium area. If you've gone to the expense of getting in to the zoo, don't miss visiting this place too.”

Assiniboine Park

Address: 55 Pavilion Crescent, Winnipeg, MB R3P 2N6, Canada

Art gallery Park Restaurant Zoo

“Great place to do fun activities they hold. You can often watch Movies there, feed the ducks some bread. The place is a nice place to go biking around with friends and just get away from everything that is annoying you at home.”

FortWhyte Alive

Address: 1961 McCreary Rd, Winnipeg, MB R3P 2K9, Canada

Park Zoo

“Lots for everyone to do. Trails are quiet and well maintained. Dioramas and stuffed animals are interesting. Indigenous history is nice to see. Toboggan run is a good time. And who doesn't like real live bison? :)”
