“Staying in Moncton and checked out the Hopewell Rocks, on a fam vacation of the Eastern Provinces. We saw this waffle ice cream place on the way back to the hotel. Just figured it would be some small overpriced tourist stop. Nope. 3.25 for a giant waffle cone ice cream (May '22). I thought it was going to be 7 bucks or something. It was huge. Then we found out this guy and his wife also make these really unique Waffle Sandwiches... Donair, Chicken Ranch, Buffalo Chicken, Pizza, Grilled Cheese, etc. We ended up grabbing dinner (it took 15 min to eat these giant cones and they were quality so we talked ourselves into trying this unique dinner while we ate the cones). The Sandwiches are huge and around 10 bucks. While we were waiting these 5 local kids on bikes came by and grabbed some ice cram. While they were eating one said 'I like that guy. He's so nice '. It was a wholesome spot. Really nice place. The kids loved it. If you go to Hopewell Rocks, add this place to your itinerary. Cheers.”

“We had a fantastic time here at the Tides Restaurant. Its located right in the center of the beautiful scenic Village of Alma. Our large group was well accommodated by great service from the waiting staff, the food was super fresh and delicious!!! Everything was so good were returned the next day to have some of the local beer that they have available. They have a large variety of local beers on tap and available in can/bottles so we ended up spending most of the afternoon here. We will definitely return very soon!!!”

“Ate here with the family on August 13 during our stay at Fundy National Park. My wife had the lobster roll and I had fried clams. The food was excellent and the portions were large. The staff was very friendly and prices were fair. There are a lot of choices for seafood in Alma but I'm glad we chose this one. Recommended.”

“The food and drinks were delicious! However, there were a few things that soured or visit somewhat. The restaurant was understaffed resulting in a very busy waitress, no refills of water or coffee, and longer wait times. A table that was seated after us were served firsts and finally our meals were served in chipped bowls. Despite all this I plan to return...the food and atmosphere are great.”

“Visited in July 2020 during covid-19 restrictions. It was around 5:30pm and no one else was there. Tables were spaced further apart than usual and some tables off to the side that couldn't be used. Young waitress said we could sit anywhere. Had seafood chowder, cheesecake, and tea. Food was excellent. Seafood very thick. All seemed fresh. Price was tad expensive but reasonable. Waitress was attentive to our needs. Relaxing place for casual place to eat. You should drop by on your way to Fundy or while visiting Hopewell rocks.... Great local business that could use our support.”

“Had a good time visiting and learning here today. It was sad that not every aspect of the museum was available due to COVID-19 but what we were able to see was neat. We even learned something new about New Brunswick history. For $10 entry/each it was a neat way to spend an hour or so and learn some New Brunswick history and take some tacky tourist pictures!”

“Just your typical cheap-ish motel. Stayed a night here and explored all day and the evening. Parking could have been better laid out (very tight spots,if you have a truck it'll be a very tight squeeze) The lady at front desk was very informative though, gave us all kinds of ideas of things to do. And the restaurant within the motel had pretty decent food. As a family vacation I will be renting one of the bigger rooms/cottage. We just stayed in a room but they have decent sized cottage like units; one was a big 2 berm unit, where others were split into 2( mom & dad vacation only sorta room??)”

"I called ahead to check and see if they were open because we wanted to go there for our wedding anniversary and he said "were open and I am going to save you a seat". As we got there he greeted us at the door, shook my hand and said "congratulations, come over your seat is here". He then personally went over the menu with us, talk a bit about himself, his family the restaurant and he thanked us for the business." I don't think I've ever experienced this ina restaurant before. Other things that were good. Food choices, prices, presentation and the food is awesome. By far the best pasta I have ever had. And everything thing is made there.”

“Me and my boyfriend tried dim sum for the first time today, and were extremely happy with our service :) I told the woman I was vegetarian and she helped me navigate the menu, circling all the meat free options for me. The price was fair and the portion sizes were perfect, not so big you would overeat, bug enough you could try multiple dishes. The cooking was phenomenal and the service was so friendly and kind. We've definitely found a new restaurant to add to our list of favourites and work into our routine ❤️”
