“This is a class act! Our daughter's wedding was held here July 13, 2019. The customer service provided by Chantel and her team is outstanding. Questions are answered immediately, most answers are "Yes,we can do that". They are helpful with ideas and vendor contacts. Their attention to detail is superb; before, during and after the event. The food was delicious and served hot. We dined on Prime Rib and Stuffed Chicken. Our guests couldn't believe how beautiful the venue was with breathtaking views of The Connecticut Lakes. They were happy to stay the whole weekend because the costs were very reasonable. On-site accommodations are clean and spacious with a fun atmosphere. So many guests have told us that this was Best Wedding they've ever attended...and the most beautiful. Thanks Chantal! We'll be back just to relax and make more memories. Highly recommend At Bear Tree for your wedding!”

Convenient little cafe-gift shop right below the cabin a lifesaver for an early coffee and breakfast, too! Last morning lost power half way through my shower. Talk about ‘cold shower’! Otherwise, a great stay, looking forward to our next visit next month.”

“This place is *not* open. Furthermore, it will take a lot for it to open based on the condition of some of the buildings and the condition of the grounds. It’s basically a ghost resort reminiscent of a Stephen King novel. But you can’t deny its majesty. Someone who has lots of money to spend will be required for this resort to be restored.”

“We stayed at the blackberry winter cabin on first Connecticut lake for two nights and really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very clean and the view from the porch was amazing (see photos). Very private, and when sitting on the porch you can't see any other cabins nearby. Fire pit by the beach is a great spot to sit, and beach is great for kids and swimming as it's very gradual entry. Will definitely be back”

“Mohawk Cottages was a little slice of New Hampshire heaven! We flew in from Los Angeles to enjoy Mohawk Falls + some ATV fun. It's right near the trails + the beautiful Balsams Resort. The owners, Mike + Terri, made us feel so welcome + they left little touches just for us based on our conversations with them. So kind! We can't wait to come back for snow mobile season (this time with a bigger crew!).”

“This is my go to spot up in the Colebrook area. The rooms are always clean and cozy. The parking in the back is spacious for trucks and trailers (also tucked away). “Nice place for snowmobiling. Jim upgraded us to a better room because of a problem in original room. Has coffee in the morning but could raise room price to include a modest continental breakfast. They could also utilize the office area and install more tables and chairs to accommodate that request. Motel is right on trail”

“Trail access right behind the motel. They have a little restaurant and a gas station as well as a mini convenience store. Very reasonably priced. After we checked out they let us leave our truck and trailer parked there to do more trail riding.”
