“Great place for a quick walk or to play nature bingo. Small inlet along the path you could stop and ready. Many turtles to hunt out in the swamp areas. The park that is near by is a great addition for children”

“This place is coming along nicely. They recently installed a new playground for the children. (I hear there are plans to expand the playground already). There are several trails to walk (both blacktopped and wooden plank). It's too bad Amherst's trails aren't maintained through the winter (like Clarence does), but it is a very nice place to go for a walk any time of the year. Speaking of winter, there is a nice sledding hill that gets plenty of use. Small parking area though.”

“Never knew this place was here! Cool little trails, perfect for a walk. Nice peaceful park tucked away behind a senior living center in the heart of amherst.”

“This place has very nice play areas, three sets of swings, a basketball court, tennis court, baseball field and seating. Also in the unfortunate circumstance you need a lavatory there is a portable toilet on the grounds as well. There is plenty of surrounding parking as well. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a park to visit especially people with children.”

“Best park for runners, walks in Amherst area.”

“I don't think this location should be called the UB Bike Path Parking, as many portions of the path are not on UB property and they don't maintain the path. The site was only mildly creepy the other day. People linger in their cars too long. I saw five wild turkey and one deer. The restrooms could be fresher. There is no airflow. The metal mirror looks like a magnet for denting. The paper towel dispenser is nearly always empty and should be removed if never filled. I'm not sure if there is soap. The water fountain seems to only run at a trickle. I remember thinking at least we have a restroom.”

“Park was great, unfortunately baseball was cancelled”

“Decent golf course, the layout is pretty boring on the front 9 and the back 9 has a much more dynamic layout. I'd recommend for a newer golfer or someone who isn't serious. If you're looking for a better layout, Sheridan park course is considerably more challenging as public courses go. One thing to note, the greens are very well kept; that being said, they are very soft and slow.”

“Is a great place for a kids birthday party. They set up mats and things to climb on for the kids. There is also a bunch of little bikes and cars for the kids to ride on inside. There is a kitchen with a stove fridge and sink that you can use also. We've been there 2 yrs in a row now and really like it”

“The park is very nice! The kids love it and the property around is safe for the kids to run free!”

“I took my grandsons to the park today, and they enthusiastically initiated the equipment. When it came time to go, they didn't want to leave. They climbed, they swung, they spun. A most enjoyable experience. The only negative us that the playground now sits in the path of the best sledding hill in the local area. Not sure of how this will play out come sledding season.”

“Small secluded park. Usually a good place to put your kayak in at since they have kayak launches. There have been more people than usual lately. There are boat launches as well. There are bathroom facilities on site which is super convenient after you've been on the water for a few hours”

“Great place to take your dogs; it's a dog haven more than a dog park. Lots of space to run, big wide path to walk, creek access and lots of shade. I also have small children; the path is gravel so not ideal for strollers but graded enough to make it work. Also there are some old picnic tables and an old playground which were both enjoyed briefly by the kids.”
