“Visited for the first time with friends who had come a couple years ago and loved it. The sites are smaller and closer together than we are used to at provincial campgrounds, but as we were with two other families we essentially shared the 3 sites. Even though your neighbours are close there was very little noise, everyone was very respectful and as it’s a kid-friendly campground I think most families turn in early. Pool was beautiful, the activities were great for the kids, and the beach down the road was fun to explore. Very little cell service in the area in general (I personally have no problem with this when camping!) but wifi was available by the canteen if needed. Hosts were lovely and friendly and obviously love their work! Will definitely be back!”

“Small and very manageable with lots to explore. The fact that it's a reproduction actually meant that you could touch things, which made it WAY more interactive and engaging for kids. In fact, this is where we discovered Parks Canada's Xplorers program, and our kiddos came to look forward to their "quests" at other sites during our vacation! Friendly and informative staff. Washrooms available. Not wheelchair accessible.”

“A welcoming home with historic charm and beauty. The hosts are so inviting and friendly you feel at home. Just outside of the main hustle and bustle you’re close enough to enjoy the amenities and attractions while enjoying privacy and scenery. The gazebo and waterside seating were a lovely treat to take in the views and relax into the evening. Overall this is a wonderful location to rest and recoup on your travels. “A great place to visit when in Annapolis Royal the fort is well maintained clean and organized for visitors. A pro tip don't bother to pay the entrance fee to take a tour of Fort. Take a walk on the leash and explore the beauty of waterfront. Great views if you plan to visit on a SUNSET.”

Very spacious, well equipped kitchen and with a lot more amenities than the average vacation rental home. Valentina, the host, rocks! She is very attentive and she's always there when you need her. “This company painted two walls for me last summer. There were details on the house but the final cost was extremely high. They did a fair job painting the exterior but some paint was spilled onto the bay window roof. I would say this company over charges for their work. I have had another painter do the rest of the house and they did an excellent job without paint spillage, including all detail on the house and repairs where required. The paint used was the same and the cost was considerably lower.”

“We had a great experience here. We are on a 3-week tour so we booked in February and the admin service was very prompt and easy to book. We booked cabin K7, which is definitely the primo spot of the whole place with amazing views. The campground is very well kept. The cabin is a bit shabby but it’s a dry roof. I’m glad that we had sheets to cover the mattress even though we slept in sleeping bags.”
