“Visited for the first time with friends who had come a couple years ago and loved it. The sites are smaller and closer together than we are used to at provincial campgrounds, but as we were with two other families we essentially shared the 3 sites. Even though your neighbours are close there was very little noise, everyone was very respectful and as it’s a kid-friendly campground I think most families turn in early. Pool was beautiful, the activities were great for the kids, and the beach down the road was fun to explore. Very little cell service in the area in general (I personally have no problem with this when camping!) but wifi was available by the canteen if needed. Hosts were lovely and friendly and obviously love their work! Will definitely be back!”

“We had a great experience here. We are on a 3-week tour so we booked in February and the admin service was very prompt and easy to book. We booked cabin K7, which is definitely the primo spot of the whole place with amazing views. The campground is very well kept. The cabin is a bit shabby but it’s a dry roof. I’m glad that we had sheets to cover the mattress even though we slept in sleeping bags.”

“The location is beautiful, the pool is fun, the walks are relaxing, the memories are cherished. The owners/staff are so friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Our families have gone for 8yrs now and we have never been disappointed. We've made so many memories there and look forward to making many more.”

“Positives. Clean, sunset was amazing. Improvement: paying for a hot shower ? Management not overly friendly. Sites are close to each other however only 6 campers here while we stayed. Price: 125.95 nightly (which is why I questioned having to pay for a shower) and probably why campground was basically empty. Close to amenities and the beautiful Annapolis Royal.”

“The view was great and the beach wasn't busy when my niece and I camped there. Nice to have the beach a few steps a way and Sandy Bottom Lake is a great lake. When we were there their well had a boil order in place. When I took a shower and it smelled like bleach, it made me very itchy so stopped showering and just went swimming. The bathrooms need a reno and they only have one shower. They have two outhouses, one for men and one for women and the bathhouse with men's and women's lockers rooms. I didn't go into the men's locker room, but the women's has one larger bathroom (handicapped one) with a chair and a sink. The other is a water closet without a sink. There are two sinks in the locker area and a long bench. There is one shower. Getting it working was confusing at first because I originally thought the slots to pay was perhaps left over from a washer. The price is 25 seconds for 5 minutes. We ended up calling showers our $1 showers because we took 10 minute showers. The canteen was out of a lot of things because it was the end of the season, but they had good nachos and things like ice cream, frozen yogurt and popsicles. They had hot dogs too. They were put of ice but very kindly ordered some. The beach is small but is nice. There is a volley ball net and canoes, kayaks, and peddle boats that can be rented for a cheap price. They do not rent them out anymore after 5 pm. We had a great time in the kayaks but our favorite thing to do was swimming. There is a life guard on duty sometimes and a shallow end roped off. There isn't a lot to do there so it is good that is something we love to do. It is a good base to go to other places though. The campgrounds were clean, but keep in mind that the ground is soft and it can get windy so bring extra stakes if you are tenting. There are fire pits available and firewood is available at the canteen. The campsites are a great price and there are serviced sites (electricity and water) for only $27 and they have 2 bedroom cottages Jr. cottages available too. Another nice thing about Raven Haven is that free wifi is available so we could watch netflix at night. The staff were friendly too. While there were some negative things at Raven Haven, we had a great time. I would recommend this place.”

“RV camping was great quiet at night. A quiet little retreat for my hushand and me. Lovely. Pool was great and refreshing And it didn't hurt, that it was hot! Would come here again.”

“Great space for tents at the back away from the highway. Cottages are well equipped with a kitchen but a bit noisy due to proximity to highway. Highly recommend the tenting space.”
