The docents are amazing and are fonts of knowledge. The volunteers are engaged in any number of activities related to turning fleece into yarn. The gift shop offers wool that is dyed on site, as well as textiles woven on looms in the building.
Great place to pick up a little history and some details of the old wool milling technology. Interesting old machinery and good explanations and question answeing from the docents. It's also very picturesque and a nice place to walk around on a sunny day.
If you love the rushing sound of water surrounded by beautiful trees and old stuff, this place is for you! Felt a tad magical to be honest. Definitely recommend visiting if you’re in the area!
Pretty place to stop. We enjoyed it from the outside, because of the admission fee.
Must to stop by place, experience the hard mechanism to weave a fabric out of wool. Enjoy spinning wheel and get some artistic work home. Its on intersection and accessible, highly recommended.
