“We have been eating at Mezza for many years but, after this take out order, we won’t be returning. We ordered on line and that went well. The pick up was fine as well. Our complaints are with the chicken skewers, very dry, tough and over cooked. Worse we have ever had! Also, the portion of salad was super small and saturated in salad oil. The lentils and rice were the best part of the meal. Sorry you have lost two loyal customers. UPDATE: Very shortly after writing this review, we received an email followed by a phone call from the owner. He apologized profusely for the poor quality of food in our takeout order. He also promised us that he would look into it and ensured us that it would not occur again. We were asked if we would give Mezza another try on their dime which, we will be doing. I changed the rating as I was very impressed with the response I received. It was prompt, professional and that no excuses were made for our disappointing takeout order. I will update this review again after our next visit.”

“When the fries are cooked right at deluxe,they are darned hard to beat. Sometimes they’re over cooked and sometimes they are cold. Today however they were piping hot right out of the fryer and had the perfect amount of salt. Five stars all the way! The only problem is that while the burger has ok flavour the patties are too thin and dry and the bun is just ok. Also the fountain pop tasted kinda watery. So that pulls my rating down to a 4. But the fries were 5 stars all day!!!”

“Been on a burger kick lately so I decided to go to Burger King! Absolutely loved them when I was a kid in the 80’s and early 90’s but lately not so much. Got a double quarter pounder with bacon and cheese meal. The burger was freaking huge!!!!! Two many onions though next time I’ll get no onions. Fries were hot service was fast and when I asked for lots of ketchup,I actually got it!”

“While I don’t enjoy Wendy’s as much as I did when they first moved to truro (they’re fries and burgers were better before they changed them) I still enjoy them from time to time! I got some coupons in the mail and I’ve been enjoying the Dave’s single cheeseburger combo for $5.99. A pretty good deal and the burger and fries were super tasty. The coke was also good even though there was too much ice but it was nice and cold!”

“BY FAR THE BEST PIZZA IN TRURO!!! No one else is close!!! The donair pizza is loaded with meat,the garlic fingers actually have garlic flavour and they are loaded with cheese,the works is also fantastic. You never have to ask for extra cheese and extra toppings at patio lantern cause they always put tons on! The staff was really friendly and the prices are very reasonable. Also I was told it would be thirty minutes and that’s exactly when it was ready! They deserve 6 stars really!!!!!”
