“Excellent spot and worth a trip to Dartmouth. The cod was well done.. paired with a spicy chickpea and vegetable side, it was light, healthy and went well with the view of the Halifax Harbour! The bartender knows how to make a drink. Go for a post work beverage and try something..anything... fantastic mixologist! The service..impeccable.”

JUKAI Japanese&Thai

“They have a lot of option for all you can eat especially sushi rolls which was great. The servers were very kind and friendly. The one thing I didn’t like was sashimi. I do understand even if they use frozen fish for all you can eat restaurant. However, the water comes from the fishes . So the quality was not perfect. But still fine.”

Il Trullo

Address: 102 - 67 King's Wharf Place, Dartmouth, NS B2Y 0C6, Canada

Restaurant

“I had a business meeting at this restaurant. The place seems a little out of the way but I am from Toronto so not sure about the geography of Halifax/Dartmouth. Even if it a bit tucked away I highly suggest going to the place. The views are nice. The decor is great. The staff was even better. And the food was lights out fantastic. I had the pasta with meatballs - simply wonderful. The person i was meeting had the eggplant and it looked out of this world. The place is worth the stop.”

Evan's Fresh Seafoods

Address: Alderney Landing, 2 Ochterloney St, Dartmouth, NS B2Y 1B2, Canada

Restaurant

“After a walk along the boardwalk in Halifax you might decide you would like to have some fish and chips, it is the Atlantic after all. There are plenty of places to get fish and chips on the Halifax side but if you’re craving fresh and local, then take the ferry across to Dartmouth and stop in the Norman Newman Marketplace at a little place called Evan's Seafood on the main floor. Although the seating appears to be cafeteria style the staff will bring your meal out to you when it's ready and check in with you to see if you have any other needs from time to time so don't forget to tip. on a nice day you can sit on the picnic tables provided out in the sunshine and by the Bay. The fish is locally caught and the batter is freshly made. Both are excellent. The tartar sauce is also made fresh on-site. be sure to take a taste of the fresh fish first, before you use the tartar sauce. That way you get to taste the flavor of the fish without any thing else. It is excellent. The fries are very good too. Fresh cut and fried to perfection. Well worth the stop.”

“They sell food too, but we tried their soft serve. They advertise 24 flavors, but they have daily selection of those flavors -- some interesting flavors. We tried the chocolate cake one and it definitely tasted like chocolate cake! Flavors mixed at serve time, so cannot try before buying.”
