We ate here as a group and were seated above the kitchen in a cozy space that was large enough for our 15 or so people. We had a choice of appetizers main course and dessert. I enjoyed my calamari, it was cooked perfectly and was definitely sharable in size. I couldn’t eat more than half of it as I wanted to enjoy my main , the herbed chicken. The herbed chicken was a mixture and not the usual breast meat by itself. The accompanying veg and sauce tasted great. For dessert they hit it out of the park with cheesecake. I enjoyed my meal but would have loved it if I’d read the menu in better light. The green bean Caesar looked amazing and everyone who had it cleaned their plates. However the filet mignon were undercooked but still had great taste. The bread pudding was yummy as well.
Very nice spot, great interior. We sat at the bar, and ordered a couple drinks and desserts. The bartender made a special off the menu drink, and it was delicious. Dessert was wonderful, and a good portion size as well. Would recommend.
Impeccable service. Absolutely delicious food! The duck was served perfectly medium rare. The mashed potatoes somehow made a normal dish extraordinary! We will definitely be back
I've dined at the Brasserie a few times since moving to Halifax and I have never been let down! The atmosphere is cozy, yet classy and inviting. The staff are always prompt and friendly. The menu is incredible, I always get the Duck and I am never let down. The wine menu, and cocktail menu are vast and delicious. I can't say enough good things about the Brasserie. Top spot in Halifax
