“I have been booking flights and tours from this place for nearly 5 years and their service is exceptional. They know the places to the core. They try to understand the kind of itinerary you’d like and not just hand you out the standard. Also, they give out pretty decent deals on flights, hotels and other tours that might otherwise burn a hole through your pocket.”

“Although our experience at Murphy camping on the Ocean was at the end of the season and we did not participate in the nightly fireside festivities or morning coffee at the Sailors Rest, we had a wonderful weekend. We found the owners and other guests were very friendly. The owners were knowledgeable of currents and tides as we are new SCUBA divers and were interested in taking a dive. The water was very rough but the small inlet was a good area to practice some of our SCUBA safety procedures. We didn't manage to get our scallop licences but we found a couple golf balls.”

“Great service, very informative. Our captain had a beautiful accent and knows many languages. All the history about different places throughout the Atlantic ocean, mystery, great stories he told us. Amazing view. Very friendly. Beautiful dogs. Highly Recommend ??”

“Best camping spot ever!! I wish I could have stayed and entire week or more!! I will definitely be coming back. The owner and employees are so sweet and thoughtful. They reply fast and will provide you all information/advice you might need. This place is right next to the water, providing an amazing view, access to swimming water and the option to rent kayaks (or use your own). Very close to many walking trails and different access spots to amazing beaches! The water is so clear and the sand so light, it feels like you're in Florida! Also, you only have to walk a few meters away from the shore and you've already got water to your shoulders!”

“My wife and I spent an absolutely amazing day with Lem Smith on October 7, 2019. He picked us up at the cruise terminal and off we went. We had some places we knew we wanted to see but told Lem to take us to other places we shouldn’t miss. His knowledge of the area was amazing. It was like an having the author of a local history book telling us the story of the area. I highly recommend Halifax Tour Guys. Well worth the price we paid for the 9 hours we spent with Lem.”

“I did 2 guided dives in a drysuit with East Coast. This was both my first time diving in the Atlantic and my first time using a drysuit. John and Tracy were patient and extremely knowledgeable. Fabulous shop and excellent quality rental equipment. Highly recommended!”

“Mind Hack Escape Rooms are the most fun you can have with a group of friends while keeping your clothes on!! I went recently with a group of six to attempt "The Cabin" escape room. This room truly made me feel like I was playing a real life version of Resident Evil. Incredible atmosphere and story telling. Fun puzzles. A few (hilarious in hindsight) jump scares. The staff were absolutely superb and you can tell they truly love their job. I've done other escape rooms in Halifax and nothing holds a candle (pun intended) to Mind Hack. I've also done one of their rooms at the Dartmouth location and it was just as much fun!! I'd say "The Cabin" is definitely my number one so far. After completing two of their rooms, I fully intend on trying all of the different rooms they offer. In case it isn't obvious, I HIGHLY recommend giving them a try. If I could give a higher rating than 5 stars, I would.”

“my friend, baldy, and i just got back to the toronto area after a tour of the maritimes.we trailered our bikes to cape spear NB.and rode the northumberland shore to the sydney ferry. hwy 4 had some shitty spots but we survived.continued on to the viking village and experienced cool temps....only 13 that day. made our way back to sydney and the cabot trail and on to digby.a bit bummed that we planned poorly and had to stay 80 kms out so we only got to do 1 day of the wharf rat. and spent that fixing a breakdown.thanks to shawn wallace and jeff for parts and tools. then it was on to pictou and charlottetown.the charlottetown harley clubs mechanic"mackie"helped out with another breakdown.the trip was well worth it and i am planning to go again to see the stuff do the rides i missed. i found your guide very helpful and informative and detailed.however we found an interesting old biker on rte#475 outside bouctouche.he is a self taught wood carver,a little bit born again, but he has a very interesting story.his shop is built to look like a pirate ship and the toonie tour is quite excellent. a tv crew is doing a special on him. maybe you mention him as an attraction on 475 before the dunes. he calls himself 'WOOD CHUCK and everybody in the area knows him.”

“As a widowed Senior Citizen, I grew up on loyalty to friends and Companies. I had been with an Automobile Broker for over 35 years, as the original owner was a personal friend on the family. Each year at renewal, I would check around for a better deal and most of the time, everything was the same or close so I kept my insurance. Over those years, I claimed a couple of windsheilds. This year my rates went up over $95. That was with my combined rental and car rate, as well as a special 17.5 discount and no claims. I felt loyalty would come into play but nothing they could do. One call to CAA and my coverage for my car went DOWN over $75 from Last year. My loyalty is now with CAA. I have been a CAA member as long as I can remember and will remain one. Check out what they can do for you!”
