Excellent food and the Sunday music was great!
Lovely place with good music and food
August 28, 2023 UPDATE: We had a great lunch at the Celtic Music Centre this afternoon! The seafood chowder, served with a warm tea biscuit was "delicious", the spinach salad was fresh and tasty ... and the turtle cheesecake divine (the slice was not too large, not too small ... just right). Really enjoyed the live music by Donna Marie DeWolfe (fiddler) and Amanda MacDougall (piano). Our server was lovely and we were greeted with a welcoming smile!
August 27, 2021 - I had a wonderful dining and music experience at Judique’s unique Celtic Music Centre (CMIC) on Friday, August 27, 2021. Everything on the menu looked tempting, so I opted for the “Piper’s Burger” with a side of fries (photo). The meal was generous ... and delicious (I especially appreciated the option to select a gluten-free hamburger bun).
During my dining time at the centre, I enjoyed their “Lunch Time Ceilidh” featuring well-known local musicians Shelly Campbell and Cathy Hawley (photo).
After lunch I visited the gift store (photos) and took a little tour of the interactive exhibit room that highlights the history of Cape Breton music (photos). The Ceilidh Pub staff were friendly, warm and fun! (photo).
Overall, the Celtic Music Centre is a grand place to visit for great food, wonderful music, a lovely gift shop, interesting exhibition, and friendly, engaging staff. If you are travelling up or down Hwy 19, I’d highly recommend it!
Nice little café style restaurant with a simple menu. Celtic Music performers between 1 and 3 to entertain guests. A tiny gift shop selling Celtic ware and music CDs.
Gaelic Culture in true living and breathing form. We had a wonderful afternoon in June of 2023 being part of this inclusive community. Great music, strong drink and warm people. Fantastic combination.
