The Clove Hitch Bar & Bistro

First meal in Nova Scotia set such a high bar for the following ones. Food and atmosphere are both great. They even have board games!

The service is quite fast and friendly. They have a great selection of seafood on their menu with an espresso machine. The ambiance is quite nice with live music, although, we didn't hear any but saw speaker on the back. Lights are also dimmed during dinner time for a romantic night out.

Stumbled on this wonderful place while looking for some lunch service excellent and the food was delicious.

We shared a salad with kale and mixed greens, beet, red onions, feta cheese with added chicken. My wife had the soup of the day broccoli, beet and ginger and I had the chicken club sandwich on delicious on house made bread.

It was a delicious meal with great service.

Fast service, offered us a taste of the draft beer we were considering, nice view from our table.
When the food came ... the salad greens were fresh, dressing not too sweet, the scallops were grilled just right... the chowder WAS ALL THAT and fantastic... with forkfuls of seafood.
They even gave us honey for our biscuit!
