“My friends just had a wedding here and the family that own it are so so amazing! Opened their home to us, made us feel like a part of the family. Legit bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we needed and more! The campground amazing, the washrooms are very clean and the campsites are real nice! The community fire pit is great and at night with the lights they have hanging..it just a pretty spot at night! I honestly could go and on! You have a event or just want to get away...this the place!”

“This is a beautiful park with an easy-to-walk trail that goes around the island. There were so many perfect views and plenty of benches and picnic tables at picturesque spots. There's even a beach — lots of outhouses scattered along the trail. And it's free! Go here if you're looking for a gorgeous 2.5 mile walk.”

“The view on the crest of “the rock” is a stunning panorama of woods extended to the coastal line as well as the ocean. It’s a bit tricky to find the parking shown on google maps though. The parking is located two rods away from the trail head with a map stand, meaning walking through two roads is required to get to the starting point. There are three options leading to the summit which is one of the highlights of this trip. Different scenes can be expected when the paths are preferred.”
