“We booked this for one night and stayed in the 3 bedroom shoreline room. Within an hour of arriving we booked a full week for next year! Amazing view, right on the beach. A well provisioned kitchen in a well maintained apartment style room. It even has a BBQ on the spacious deck for whipping up your own surf and turf! We were very impressed, and we anxiously await our next trip there.”

“Lane's catered our wedding at Sidanna Retreat on Sept. 5th and I cannot say enough great things about the service they provided and their food. We did not have a sit down meal, but opted instead for hot & cold appetizers with the added bonus of a poutine bar for a late night snack. Our guests loved the food and the staff at Lane's were a pleasure to work with and so accommodating. I would HIGHLY recommend using Lane's for any catering needs!”

“We were advised to come each year from someone at the resort we were staying at down the road. It was recommended as one of the best places in the area to get Seafood. The kids each got a cheeseburger, one with bacon and one without. The wife ordered a seafood platter and I had the two piece fish and chips. It was delicious”

“Been going to Nova Scotia since I was a baby from Massachusetts. Haven’t been able to come in a few years but I always think about the Garlic fingers that I’ve been eating since I was so young. They are the best things and wish it was closer to me! Unfortunately, garlic fingers are not a thing in the US. Planning on the trek back next summer but can never stop thinking about the works garlic fingers. Can’t wait to go to this place, number one on my list for our trip!”

“We haven't finished our stay yet. We are scheduled to leave tomorrow morning but from what I can tell you this is an absolutely amazing place to stay. I saw the advertisement on television when I was a child but never drove two hours to come here. It turned out to be much better than expected. They were fully booked for pretty much every room and every cabin so we were lucky that they actually had some rooms available in the building itself. I am extremely happy with it and the entire family loved our experience”
