The men who installed the unit were professional, friendly and fast. Even though I thought running a vent would be difficult, they took it in stride and did a great job. No worries for me. Now I have a new water heater and no payments. My first experience with Modern was on a chilly Christmas morning in the 90's when my furnace ignitor failed. They came and fixed it within a short time - now that's service! I will definitely use them again and recommend them highly.”

“I’m a repeat customer, as I had an air conditioner installed through Ray Electric (in Cambridge) about 10 years ago. This time, I needed a service panel upgrade from 100A to 200A. Ray Electric took care of permits, hydro dis/re-connection, and installation. Steve arrived promptly, and outlined the required work. He was concise and provided multiples quotes/options as I didn’t know exactly which path I wanted to take. Steve quickly responded to my many email inquiries, and easily pivoted when I made a last minute change. My installers (Craig and James) showed up on-time, they we’re polite, friendly, and professional. Installation took an entire day (~8 hours) and the job was done to exacting standards. They even took time out to answer my questions during the process. I’m very satisfied with the results and would highly recommend them should you need electrical work done. I arrived in Waterloo Region with my family after being relocated by my employer. Had to leave behind an apartment we loved in Brooklyn, NY and we were looking for something beautiful to match it. Unfortunately, the real estate market in KW is/was a sellers market and there wasn’t much available that appealed to us. So, we approached Urbe about a house they were still building. They were willing to work with us as we selected every interior details of the home, including a beautiful custom kitchen. They went above and beyond to help us reach our goals, they even suggested some fantastic details to take it to the next level. Every new home, unless it’s a true cookie-cutter build, will have minor issues. What I look for from a builder is willingness to fix—to make it easy on the buyer as new home issues can be stressful. My experience with Urbe on this has been great, they even moved my 10ft kitchen island when I insisted it was shifted too far to one side. 8 months later, sitting in the home, I am very happy here and with the work that Urbe has done. Very happy we took a chance on a new builder last year.”
