We had the black lentil Dahl and beef vindaloo and asked for "big city level spice" on the vindaloo--it was amazing: a slow build of heat that didn't distract from the subtle but complex flavours. The meat was a little fatty but the sauce made up for it. The Dahl was also very good--creamy texture and a layered delicate spicing that amplified with every bite. Naan was also light and buttery. Rice is included, which is great and in general portions were generous.”

“On google maps, this restaurant showed up as a fish and chips place. We were disappointed to find out that they only serve fish and chips on the first friday of the month. Luckily, the menu had lots of variety and almost everything sounded appealing. We ordered the chicken bruschetta and the beef dip sandwich. It took a while, as they where very busy, but our server was extremely nice and cheked on us a few times while we where waiting. Everything on the chicken bruschetta was cooked perfectly and had a very nice flavor. The beef dip sandwich however, was slightly overcooked and less flavourful, but still good. Overall it is a very nice restaurant and we hope to eat there again.”

“By far the best ice cream around! (and between my kids and i, i think we've pritty well tried them all...) If you've never had central smith ice cream before you're really missing out. Also in a great location right beside the bidge in the heart of cargill. Tons of seating on the patio where you can overlook and listen to the river. Gotta say, i was impressed.”
