MellowOut B&B

My girlfriend booked the Lavender Room for a few nights during the Art Crawl, that is held in the region every year.
I asked if she has read any reviews on this B & B, she said no.

I read the reviews and took them with a grain of salt. I was incorrect, this is the spot that you will want to stay. We had the best time. So very relaxing, in the whole area.

Every morning we had a choice of different breakfast items that we could pick the previous evening. The Breakfast was great, Maureen is a excellent cook.

The owners, Ed and Maureen are generous hosts that will make you feel very welcome in their home. The bedrooms are downstairs, which gives guests their privacy. The WiFi worked flawlessly.

I work in Television production. I have worked in many different States and Provinces, been in many different hotels, including The Ambassador as well The Royal York. This was one of the most relaxing stays that I have ever had.
The property is surrounded by nature and very quiet.

Just a note, everything to eat in the area closes by 8pm, so get your food early.

Me & my wife and Family from UK went to MellowOut B&B in Bruce Peninsula at the beginning of July 2023 for 2 nights. This place is in an excellent location on a 10 acre plot. The house is surrounded by beautiful trees and so tranquil. The hosts Maureen and Ed what can I say they are absolutely amazing, so caring always helpful and took care of all our needs. The house is amazing we rented all 3 bedrooms they are very clean and all have ensuite, plus we got to use the game room as well. The location is 20min to Lions Head, 30-45mins to Tobermory and just 30mins from Sauble beach. The breakfast is amazing prepared by Ed and Maureen and served. MellowOut B & B is an excellent place and the hosts are so inviting, I would recommend this place to anyone.

Ed and Maureen are phenomenal hosts, their place is very clean and comfortable. They make your stay very relaxing and are wonderful to talk to. They are a great knowledge resource and it’s truly a getaway visiting MellowOut!

Ed and Maureen are the ultimate hosts. Maureen is meticulous about the details. I forgot body wash, and she had it. I forgot a hair dryer, and she had it on the counter in the bathroom. The meals were hot and delicious. Ed and Maureen are also great conversationalists. Such a beautiful clean home with each room done so well. I would definitely recommend this place.

Maureen and Ed were amazing hosts and lovely people with servant hearts. They are so easy to talk to, we felt right at home.

We stayed in the lavender room which was so comfortable and clean.

Breakfast was delicious! I'd recommend the eggs Benedict though every option was excellent! The price is very reasonable as well!

My husband and I hiked several trails in the area. We really enjoyed Petrel Point Nature Reserve that was fairly close to the bed and breakfast. We also hiked Devil's Monument, Cottrill Lake, Spirit Rock and Bruce's Caves all of which we'd recommend. It was lovely having a comfortable home to come back to and rest after hiking all day.
