Camp sites are nice with a fire pit and picnic tables, there’s a large clear area in each site for tents as well as drive through access for cars. Camp sites are pretty close together, but there are some trees in between sites for privacy.
Amazing park with extremely clean washroom station and campsites! Rangers are always there to check sites and control anything if help is needed. The most amazing part in this campsite was the comfort station!! I've been to many camp sites but this site has the best of all! convenient, spacious, extremely clean, it's in the middle of all the campgrounds so very convenient and easy to find! Rangers are very welcoming and helpful. Always smiling and friendly.
Comfort station has huge area of working station as well. Wifi and charging plug everywhere.
Grotto is walking distance. Nature is beautiful. We saw meteor shower unexpectedly! Lots of stars. Quiet after 11PM.
Would definitely comeback and stay longer!
My camp slot was spacious, had a lot of privacy and a beautiful view only a fee steps away! It could fit three tents and two cars. It also had easy access to washrooms and showers nearby. Quiet hours are from 11pm to 7am, which is fair. Also no campfire or lights allowed during that time. I really enjoyed my stay, and I will definitely come back next year.
Amazing campground, it's absolutely beautiful with a great view of the sunset. I go with my family every year and it's a blast every time. The lake is quite rocky so I strongly recommend bringing water shoes, however, my experience this year was great as always. The birches campsites are a closer walk to the Grotto than the Tamarack campsites, however the walk is fairly easy with some boardwalk areas. Overall I had an absolutely amazing time and will definitely be returning next year!
Great camp ground. We always camp in late October and it is always nice and quiet and clean. Park staff are on top of the rules and enforce them, so if you want to party don't come here. We like it because it keeps the yahoos out. Quality family camping, with as secluded sites as you get for having a larger trailer. Fire pit is always clean and functioning as well as the bathrooms. They are rudimentary but clean and functioning. Next year there will be new shower building completed so that will be nice. Again, some reviews complain about the lack of showers, but if you had done your research then you would already know this so why complain. And who wants to smell nice when they camp, really?
