Beautiful little campground with a view of the water at each site.
Beautiful and an amazing place. Must visit during summer. The trek is good, I could not finish as I was busy clicking pictures. Very clear waters.
The campsites are all next to the dock so during the day the ferry will go by you every hour or two. At night you will still hear the floating docks banging against each other. The campsites themselves are quite nice, aside from the noise and the deluge of tourists during the day. They all come with wooden platforms and a picnic table. There is an outhouse nearby. You can walk around the entire island in an hour but there is still plenty to explore.
A piece of paradise ! My suggestion is to book as muvh time as possivke and make a day ouy of it. Bring your lunch & have fun !! Cliff jumping swim shoes are a must ! And just enjoy the beauty of the remarkable place. Price is a little high but worth it in the end ! STUNNING
Recently on my visit to Tobermory I visited the flowerpot island, this island has treks, rock pillars which are flower pot shaped hence the name and lightstation. You should probably take a half day or a full day depending on your age/fitness to spend sometime walking/trekking all over the island to view these. Please note you would have to wear proper shoes and carry some water, trailmix etc as the facilities are limited. The island is reached by boats which drop you off and let you know the pickup time so that you can complete your tour and be back to board the boat back.
